Liam's Beach Day Surprise!

Liam's Beach Day Surprise!

"Hmm, I wonder what it feels like to be a doctor," Liam said, playing with his toy dinosaur. He imagined it wore a tiny white coat and listened to a teddy bear's heart.

"What are you thinking about, Liam?" Mom asked, smiling as she drew a picture of a sunny beach.

"Doctors! Do you think they go to the beach?" Liam asked.

Mom giggled. "Maybe! Why don't we go to the beach today and pretend to be doctors?"

Liam's eyes widened. "Yes! We can be beach doctors!" He grabbed his toy doctor kit.

Soon, they were driving towards the beach. The car windows were down, and warm air blew through Liam’s hair. When they arrived, Liam gasped. The beach was amazing! The sand was soft and warm, and the ocean sparkled under the bright sun.

"Wow!" Liam shouted. He raced towards the water, giggling.

"Let's set up our beach doctor office!" Mom said, spreading out a big beach towel.

Liam helped her unpack their snacks, sunscreen, and, of course, his toy doctor kit. They built a tall sandcastle next to their towel and pretended it was their hospital.

Suddenly, a little brown dog with floppy ears trotted up to them, wagging its tail.

"Look, a patient!" Liam exclaimed. He carefully used his toy stethoscope to listen to the dog's tummy. "Hmm, your tummy sounds a little rumbly. I think you need a snack!"

Mom laughed and gave the dog a biscuit from their picnic basket. The dog munched happily, its tail wagging even faster.

More people came to the beach, and soon, Liam and Mom were busy checking everyone's "health." Liam pretended to give a little girl a checkup with his toy thermometer, while Mom used seashells to bandage a boy's imaginary scraped knee.

"Being a beach doctor is so much fun!" Liam told his mom, grinning.

As the sun began to set, painting the sky with orange and pink hues, Liam started to feel a little tired from all the excitement. He snuggled close to his mom, watching the waves gently crash against the shore.

"Thanks for being the best beach doctor assistant ever," Mom said, kissing Liam on the head.

Liam yawned. "I think being a beach doctor is a lot of work, but it's the best job ever," he mumbled sleepily.

On the drive home, Liam couldn't stop thinking about their beach adventure. He had so much fun helping people and making them smile. Maybe being a doctor wasn't so bad after all. And who knew, maybe one day, he’d even meet a real doctor at the beach!
