The Three Little Pigs with William

The Three Little Pigs with William

Once upon a time, there was a curious and adventurous child named William. William loved to go on walks, especially when he could dream about birds. Today, William was exploring some insects in a grassy clearing in the middle of a forest. He was watching a trail of ants when he heard some voices. "What's that?" William wondered, and with his fast and cheerful personality, he decided to find out what all the conversation was about.

He followed the sound of the voices until he saw three little piglets. They were so funny! One piglet had a big curly tail, another had spots all over her body, and the third had a funny little snort. They saw William and called him over. "Do you live in a house?" they asked before even saying hello!

William was confused. Of course, he lived in a house! It was in Phoenix, and it was a cozy home shared with his family. The youngest piglet, the one with the curly tail, explained, "We left our mother's house because we are all grown up now! Our mother said we should build our own houses because the forest has dangers, like a wolf who loves to eat piglets!" William was surprised. He was only four years old, and he didn't know about wolves.

"I can help!" William said immediately. He loved to help people, especially when he could use his superpower, Speed like a cheetah.

Each of the piglets had a plan for her house. The spotted piglet decided to build a house out of straw. She tied it up in big blocks, but she didn't even make a door or window! She wanted to finish quickly and go play. "Come on, William, let's play!" she called. "But we can help all three of you, a little bit each," William said. He wanted everyone to have fun together.

The next piglet, the one with the funny snort, decided to gather wood from the forest. She built her cabin with a roof, doors, and windows, but she saw her sister playing and didn't worry about putting in many nails. Finally, she went to play too! William then went to help the third piglet.

The third piglet wanted to build a house like her mother's, with bricks, cement, glass windows, and a secure roof. It took time. William and the piglet sweated with all that work! But they laughed while doing it! Meanwhile, they saw the two other piglets already free, having lots of fun.

When the third piglet and William finished the whole job, the piglet invited William to eat something in her new house! "We can cook something on the wood stove we built!" William was excited! He loved to eat, and he was even more excited to try something new!

That night, the wolf appeared! The piglets and William were scared! The wolf went straight to the straw house and with just one strong blow, knocked the whole house down! The piglet who lived there ran through the dark forest without the wolf being able to catch her. "We can go to Racetrack, my hiding place, if we need to!" William worried.

The wolf, who was hungry and didn't want to waste time, went straight to the wooden cabin. It took two strong blows, and soon the house fell apart. The second piglet ran and found her sister hiding in the forest.

The wolf, already irritated, went to blow down the third house, made of bricks, from which a delicious smell was coming out of the chimney. He blew, blew, blew, and nothing. The house didn't fall. So he decided to go down the chimney! It seemed like a good idea! And when he started to descend, he smelled something burning! His tail was on fire!

This time it was the wolf who was scared and quickly ran away from there!

The two hiding piglets laughed when they saw the wolf running away and finally were able to return. Their sister welcomed them, and along with William, they had a delicious soup! It felt good to feel welcomed, inside a warm and safe house!

And so, William and the three little piglets enjoyed that night, realizing that sometimes, good things take time!
