Sleeping Beauty with Elizabeth

Sleeping Beauty with Elizabeth

This story begins a few years ago… Even before Elizabeth was born… There was a big celebration in the Enchanted Kingdom. You know, the one Elizabeth could reach through her imagination! But anyway, the story begins before that.

The King and Queen of the Enchanted Kingdom were very happy. They finally had a little princess! Her name was Aurora. They had tried for a long time to have a baby, but it had been hard. They were so excited!

All the fairies in the kingdom came to the party. Each fairy gave the princess a special gift. There was a gift for kindness, a gift for intelligence, and a gift for being brave. But one of the fairies wasn't a good fairy at all! She gave Princess Aurora a curse. The fairy said that when Aurora grew up, she would prick her finger on a spindle and die!

Everyone was worried, but they couldn't take back the gifts the fairies had given! Then, just when everyone was starting to feel sad, a little fairy, who was very late, arrived! She laughed and waved her magic wand. “I can fix this!” she said. The princess would still prick her finger on a spindle, but she wouldn’t die. Instead, she would fall into a deep sleep until her true love kissed her!

The years went by, and everyone in the kingdom was happy again. They were so happy that they made sure there were no more spindles in the kingdom! Everyone learned to sew with sticks and threads. The princess needed to be protected!

When she was a teenager, Princess Aurora found a spindle. It was an old thing she had never seen before. “This will be much easier to use for sewing!” she thought. But when she used it, she pricked her finger. The princess fell asleep. And the whole kingdom fell asleep too!

That's when Elizabeth entered the story. She was playing with her powers, jumping into books and going on adventures. One day, Elizabeth was in a story when she met a boy with kind eyes and a friendly smile. “What a great story!” said Elizabeth. “Is this your adventure? I wish I could join you.” The boy laughed. “This is just a story,” he said, “but I’ll tell you a real story! Come on, let's go!”

The boy was a prince from another kingdom. He told Elizabeth all about the sleeping kingdom, and he said he wanted to save Princess Aurora. “I want to be a prince!” he said, “but the only way I can be a prince is if I save Princess Aurora!” Elizabeth loved a good adventure, especially in enchanted kingdoms! “I'll help you save the princess!” she shouted.

They didn't know how to get to the Enchanted Kingdom, so they closed their eyes and thought of the princess. Then, just like that, they were there! But when they arrived, the castle was covered in leaves. A big forest had grown all around it.

“That's weird,” said Elizabeth. “How do we get to the princess if the castle is surrounded by trees?” “I have a plan!” shouted the prince. “We will go through the forest! I’m sure we will be able to reach the tower.”

So they started to walk, but the forest was dangerous! It was like the forest was alive! The flowers had thorns, the trees blocked the path, and there were scary creatures everywhere. But Elizabeth didn't get scared! She had her powers! She used them to overcome the obstacles. She made the thorns disappear, she made the trees move out of the way, and she even used her powers to make the scary creatures go away.

Finally, after a long and exciting adventure, they made it to the castle tower. The prince was so excited! He went to the princess, and he kissed her on the lips. And just like that, the whole kingdom woke up!

Slowly, the forest around the castle disappeared, and everything became bright and magical again. Princess Aurora woke up, and she was so happy to see the prince and Elizabeth. “Thank you, thank you, thank you,” she said, “You saved me! And you, little girl, are the bravest girl I have ever met!”

Princess Aurora told Elizabeth and the prince that they could visit her anytime they wanted. She loved stories, just like Elizabeth. Elizabeth was so happy! She hugged Princess Aurora goodbye and said that she would come back to the Enchanted Kingdom whenever her imagination led her there.

And on that day, Elizabeth knew she would live happily ever after!
