This story begins a few years ago… Even before Emma was born…
There was a big party happening in a faraway land, a place called the Enchanted Kingdom. It was a place Emma knew how to find, through the path of dreams and imagination, but this story starts way before that. The kingdom was having a celebration, because the King and Queen had a baby girl! They had waited so long for a child, and finally, Princess Aurora was born!
Lots of fairies came to the party and gave Princess Aurora the best gifts. Some fairies gave her intelligence, some gave her kindness, and some even gave her humility! But one of the fairies was a little bit grumpy, and she gave Princess Aurora a curse! She said, "When you grow up, you will prick your finger on a spindle and die!"
Everyone was so happy, they didn't want to take back the good gifts the fairies had given. But then, a funny little fairy came, and she said, "Don't worry, I can fix it! The princess will still prick her finger, but she won't die. She will just fall into a deep sleep until her true love kisses her!"
Years passed, and everyone in the kingdom learned to sew with sticks and threads, because they knew the princess could never use a spindle! They wanted to keep her safe. But when the princess was a teenager, she found a spindle! It was the first time she had ever seen one, and she thought it would be so much easier to sew with it than with sticks and threads. She picked it up and… ouch! She pricked her finger, and she fell into a deep sleep! The whole kingdom fell asleep too!
This is when Emma entered the story! Emma loved unicorns, and she had a special power: she could create magical rainbows! One day, Emma was playing with her magical rainbow powers when she saw a young man sitting under a tree. "Hello!" Emma said.
"Hello," the young man said. "My name is Prince Oliver, and I need your help!"
"Help? What kind of help?" Emma asked, curious like always.
"I'm from a faraway kingdom, and Princess Aurora, from the Enchanted Kingdom, is trapped in a deep sleep! I need to find her true love to wake her up, but I need help getting to the kingdom," Prince Oliver said.
Emma loved adventures, especially in magical kingdoms! She said, "Of course, I'll help! I love unicorns, and I bet they live in the Enchanted Kingdom! Let's go!"
Prince Oliver laughed and said, "That's great! I know how to get there!"
He took Emma's hand and made a big jump. They landed in a big field full of flowers, and Emma knew they had arrived!
But when they got closer to the castle, they realized it was covered in leaves! A huge forest had grown up around it in all the years that Princess Aurora had been asleep.
"We need to get inside the castle," said Prince Oliver.
"Let's climb the tallest tree!" Emma said. "I'll use my magical rainbow powers to make a path to the castle tower!"
They started to climb the trees, but the forest was full of challenges. The flowers had thorns, the trees moved to block their path, and there were strange, giant creatures that tried to scare them! But Emma kept using her magical rainbow powers to help them!
Finally, they reached the top of the tallest tree, and Prince Oliver could see the tower where Princess Aurora was sleeping.
"I hope I can wake her up!" he said.
"You will! You're her true love, so she'll wake up," Emma said, rooting for Prince Oliver.
He climbed down the tree and ran to the castle. He opened the door, went inside, and climbed up to the tower.
Emma was waiting outside, watching him go. She couldn’t believe how brave Prince Oliver was! And then… she heard a sound! A little giggle. Princess Aurora was waking up!
Slowly, the leaves on the trees began to disappear, and the forest around the castle vanished. The castle was beautiful again, and the whole kingdom was waking up too!
Princess Aurora was so happy to see Prince Oliver, her true love, and she was excited to meet Emma, her new friend. She invited Emma to come visit whenever she wanted, and she said she loved unicorns too! Emma was so happy, and she knew they would be friends forever.
And on that day, Emma knew they would live happily ever after!
