Sleeping Beauty with Mason

Sleeping Beauty with Mason

This story begins a few years ago… Even before Mason was born… There was a celebration happening in the Enchanted Kingdom. This kingdom was a special place, a place Mason knew how to reach through the path of dreams and imagination!

The kingdom was celebrating the birth of Princess Aurora, the daughter of the king and queen. They had tried for many years to have a child, and finally, she was here! All the fairies in the land came to the party. They gave the princess the best gifts! Some gave her intelligence, some kindness, some humility. But one fairy wasn’t good. She gave Princess Aurora a curse! She said the princess would prick her finger on a spindle when she became an adult and die.

Everyone in the kingdom was sad. But they couldn’t take away the gifts the fairies gave. Then, a funny little fairy arrived late! She reversed the curse! The princess would still prick her finger on a spindle. But she wouldn’t die! She would sleep forever until she received a kiss from her true love.

Years went by. There were no spindles in the kingdom. Everyone learned to sew with sticks and threads. They had to protect the princess! But when she was a teenager, she found a spindle. It was an object she had never seen before. She thought it would be much easier to sew with a spindle, so she used it! But the curse was real! The princess pricked her finger, and she and the whole kingdom fell into a deep sleep for many, many years…

This is when Mason entered the story! Mason was a sporty four-year-old boy with straight brown hair and bright green eyes. He loved climbing, and he had a special superpower. Mason could climb like a spider! One day, while playing in the paths of his imagination, he met a young man.

The young man was a prince from another kingdom. He was sitting under a giant oak tree, reading a book about a sleeping princess. When Mason climbed up the tree, the prince looked up in surprise.

“Hello!” said Mason, “What are you doing?”

“I’m reading about Princess Aurora,” said the prince. “She’s been asleep for many years. I want to save her!”

Mason was very excited. He loved adventures! “How can we save her?” he asked.

“I need a brave friend to help me,” said the prince. “Will you come with me?”

Mason loved adventures, especially in enchanted kingdoms! “Yes! I will come with you!” he said.

The prince told Mason about his plan. They needed to find the princess and wake her up! Mason loved to climb. And he loved to help others! “We can climb to the top of the castle!” he said. “I know how to climb like a spider!”

The prince and Mason started their journey to the castle. They travelled through the path of dreams and imagination, just like Mason always did. But there were many challenges! The flowers in the forest had thorns that sprouted out of nowhere! The tree trunks moved and blocked their way! And there were scary creatures that tried to stop them!

But Mason’s superpower helped them. He climbed over the thorns and around the moving trees. He even helped the prince fight the creatures! Finally, they reached the castle! It was covered in leaves. A huge forest had grown around it!

“What now?” asked the prince. “How do we reach the tower?”

“We can climb the trees!” said Mason. “The trees are very strong. They are the best ladders!”

Mason and the prince climbed the trees and reached the top of the tower. Princess Aurora was sleeping in a beautiful room! The prince went to the princess and gave her a kiss.

And then, something amazing happened! Princess Aurora opened her eyes! She woke up! And so did the entire kingdom!

The forest around the castle started to disappear. Everything became bright and enchanted again! Princess Aurora was so happy! She thanked the prince and Mason for waking her up.

“You were amazing, Mason,” she said. “I love your superpower!”

Princess Aurora had been a princess for many years, but she was still a teenager. She loved to climb too! She invited Mason to play in the castle whenever he wanted!

Mason was very happy! He knew he would always remember this adventure.

“I’ll come back whenever my imagination takes me to the Enchanted Kingdom!” he said.

And on that day, Mason knew he would live happily ever after!
