The Three Little Pigs with Emily

The Three Little Pigs with Emily

Once upon a time, there was a curious and adventurous child named Emily. Emily had beautiful blonde hair, brown eyes, and a kind heart. Emily loved to go on walks in the forest. She would dream about flowers and imagine they were talking to her. Today, Emily was exploring a grassy clearing in the middle of the forest, looking for interesting bugs.

She was watching a line of ants march across a fallen leaf when she heard voices. “What’s that?” Emily wondered. Emily was a caring girl and wanted to know if anyone needed help. She carefully followed the sound of the voices.

As she peeked through the leaves, Emily saw three tiny piglets. They were so cute! One had a funny curly tail, another had tiny pink spots, and the third was a little bit chubby. They were all huddled together, looking very worried.

Before Emily could even say hello, the piglets called out, "Hey! Do you live in a house?"

Emily was confused. "Of course, I live in a house! It's in Philadelphia, and it's a cozy home with my family."

The littlest piglet, with the curly tail, sighed. "We left our mother's house. We're all grown up now! She told us to build our own houses because there are dangers in the forest, like a wolf who likes to eat piglets!"

Emily gasped. Piglets were so small! A wolf would easily eat them! "Don't worry!" Emily said. "I can help you build houses!"

The piglets were so happy! Each piglet had a different plan. The first piglet wanted to build a house out of straw. She tied it up in big blocks, but she didn't put in a door or a window! She just wanted to finish quickly so she could go play!

"Wait!" Emily said. "We can help all three of you, a little bit each, so everyone can play together!" Emily loved to play with her superpower—making flowers bloom instantly!

The second piglet gathered wood from the forest and built a cozy cabin with a roof, doors, and windows. But she saw her sister playing and didn't bother putting in many nails. Soon, she went to play too!

The third piglet wanted to build a house like their mother's, with bricks, cement, glass windows, and a secure roof. It took a long time, and Emily and the piglet sweated with all the work! But they laughed while they built! They could see the other two piglets playing in the distance, having so much fun.

When the third piglet and Emily finished, the piglet invited Emily to eat something in her new house! Emily was so excited! They could cook something on the wood stove they had built!

That night, the wolf appeared! The piglets and Emily were scared! He went straight to the straw house and with one strong blow, knocked it down! The piglet who lived there ran through the dark forest, the wolf chasing her. Emily worried. "We can go to my secret garden if we need to!" she said.

The wolf, hungry and impatient, went to the wooden cabin. Two strong blows, and the house fell apart. The second piglet ran and found her sister hiding in the forest.

The wolf, already annoyed, went to blow down the third house, made of bricks. He could smell delicious food coming from the chimney. He blew, blew, blew, but the house didn't fall! He decided to go down the chimney. It seemed like a good idea! But when he started to descend, he smelled something burning! His tail was on fire!

This time, it was the wolf who was scared! He ran away quickly!

The two hiding piglets laughed when they saw the wolf running away and finally were able to return. Their sister welcomed them, and along with Emily, they had a delicious soup! It felt good to feel welcomed, inside a warm and safe house!

And so, Emily and the three little piglets enjoyed that night, realizing that sometimes, good things take time!
