The Three Little Pigs with Mason

The Three Little Pigs with Mason

Once upon a time, there was a curious and adventurous child named Mason. Mason loved to go on walks! It was on these walks that Mason would dream about climbing tall trees and mountains. This day, besides dreaming, Mason was exploring some insects in a grassy clearing in the middle of a forest. Mason was watching a trail of ants when they heard some voices! Mason decided to find out what all the conversation was about in the middle of the forest. Mason's sporty personality made him want to investigate!

Mason followed the sound of the voices until they saw three little piglets! One piglet was very round, the second was a little taller and had a curly tail, and the third was the smallest, but she had the biggest smile! The piglets immediately called Mason over! Even before introducing themselves, they asked Mason, "Do you live in a house?"

Mason was confused. "Of course I live in a house!" Mason said. "My house is in Denver and it's a cozy home that I share with my family."

The youngest piglet told Mason, "My sisters and I left our mother's house. We've grown up! Our mother told us to build our own houses, because the forest has its dangers, like a wolf who loves to eat piglets!" Mason was worried, because piglets are so small!

Mason immediately said, "I can help!"

Each of the piglets was going to build her own house. One piglet decided to use straw, tied it up in big blocks, and didn't even have a door or window! She wanted to finish quickly to go play! She called Mason, but Mason said, "We'll help all three of you, a little bit each, so everyone can play together." Mason loved to play with his superpower, Climbing like a spider!

The other piglet decided to gather wood from the forest and built her cabin, with a roof, doors, and windows. But she saw her sister playing and didn't worry about putting in many nails. Finally, she went to play! Mason then went to help the third piglet.

The third piglet wanted to build a house like her mother's, with bricks, cement, glass windows, and a secure roof. It took time! Mason and she sweated with all that work! But they laughed while doing it! Meanwhile, they saw the two other piglets already free, having lots of fun.

When the third piglet and Mason finished the whole job, the piglet invited Mason to eat something in her new house! Mason was excited! They could cook something on the wood stove they had built.

That night, the wolf appeared! The piglets and Mason were scared! The wolf went straight to the straw house and with just one strong blow, knocked the whole house down! The piglet who lived there ran through the dark forest without the wolf being able to catch her. Mason worried and said they could go to their hiding place, Enchanted mountain, if needed!

The wolf, who was hungry and didn't want to waste time, went straight to the wooden cabin. It took two strong blows, and soon the house fell apart. The second piglet ran and found her sister hiding in the forest.

The wolf, already irritated, went to blow down the third house, made of bricks, from which a delicious smell was coming out of the chimney. He blew, blew, blew, and nothing! The house didn't fall. So he decided to go down the chimney! It seemed like a good idea! And when he started to descend, he smelled something burning! His tail was on fire!

This time, it was the wolf who was scared! He quickly ran away from there!

The two hiding piglets laughed when they saw the wolf running away! They were finally able to return! Their sister welcomed them, and along with Mason, they had a delicious soup! It felt good to feel welcomed, inside a warm and safe house!

And so, Mason and the three little piglets enjoyed that night, realizing that sometimes, good things take time!
