Once upon a time, there was a curious and adventurous child named Scarlett. Scarlett had bright blue eyes and long, straight, blonde hair. She loved to go on walks. During her walks, she would dream of dancing ballet, which was her favorite thing to do! One day, Scarlett was exploring a grassy clearing in the middle of a forest, watching a trail of ants. She heard some voices coming from the trees and decided to find out what they were all about. Her elegant personality made her want to be polite and listen.
Scarlett followed the voices through the tall trees, her heart pounding with excitement. She soon discovered that the voices belonged to three little piglets! They looked so funny! One piglet had a curly tail and a funny little oink. Another one had a big pink nose and a tiny spot on her ear. The third piglet had a wobbly walk and liked to sing a funny song.
"Hello!" The piglets called out to Scarlett, their tiny voices filled with delight. "Do you live in a house?" They asked, before even introducing themselves! Scarlett was a little confused. "Of course, I live in a house!" she said. "It's a cozy home in Seattle, and I live there with my family!"
The youngest piglet looked at her sisters. "Well, we just left our mother's house," she said. "We've grown up now, and she told us we should build our own houses. You know, the forest can be dangerous, and there's a wolf who loves to eat piglets!"
Scarlett was shocked! She could not believe that the piglets were so young and already had to build a house! She looked at the tiny piglets, and her heart filled with kindness. "Don't worry!" she said. "I can help you!"
The three piglets were so happy! "Really?" the curly-tailed piglet asked. "We can build our houses together?"
"Of course!" said Scarlett. "Let's get started!"
The first piglet, with the curly tail, decided to build her house out of straw. She quickly tied the straw into big blocks and didn't even bother with a door or window! "I'm finished!" she shouted, "Let's go play!"
Scarlett smiled. "We'll help all three of you, a little bit each, so everyone can play together," she said. Scarlett loved to play, and her superpower was dancing endlessly, which made her so much fun to be around!
The second piglet went into the forest to gather wood and built a cabin with a roof, doors, and windows. But she could see her sister playing and didn't bother to put in many nails. "I'm done!" she called out, "Time to play!"
Scarlett went to help the third piglet, who wanted to build a house like their mother's - with bricks, cement, glass windows, and a secure roof. This took a long time, and Scarlett and the piglet sweated with all the hard work. But they laughed while they worked! Scarlett loved to dance!
When the third piglet and Scarlett finished the whole job, the piglet invited Scarlett to eat something in her new house! Scarlett was excited. She loved to cook! They could make something on the wood stove they had built.
That night, the wolf appeared! The piglets and Scarlett were scared! The wolf went straight to the straw house and with just one strong blow, knocked the whole house down! The piglet who lived there ran through the dark forest without the wolf being able to catch her.
Scarlett worried about the piglet! "We can go to our hiding place, Lake of Swans, if we need to," she said.
The wolf was hungry and didn't want to waste time, so he went straight to the wooden cabin. It took two strong blows, and soon the house fell apart. The second piglet ran and found her sister hiding in the forest.
The wolf, already irritated, went to blow down the third house, made of bricks, from which a delicious smell was coming out of the chimney. He blew, blew, blew, and nothing. The house didn't fall. So he decided to go down the chimney! It seemed like a good idea! But when he started to descend, he smelled something burning! His tail was on fire!
This time it was the wolf who was scared! He quickly ran away from there!
The two hiding piglets laughed when they saw the wolf running away and were finally able to return. Their sister welcomed them, and along with Scarlett, they had a delicious soup! It felt good to feel welcomed, inside a warm and safe house!
And so, Scarlett and the three little piglets enjoyed that night, realizing that sometimes, good things take time!
