Little Red Riding Hood with Ethan

Little Red Riding Hood with Ethan

Once upon a time, there was a child named Ethan who lived with their mother in a little house in the mountains. Their house was nestled between tall, green trees. Ethan loved to spend time with their mother, playing games and reading books together.

Ethan loved to go fishing in the nearby lake. They would spend hours by the water, hoping to catch a big fish. But more than anything, Ethan adored their grandmother! Their grandmother lived in a small cottage in the next valley. She was a kind and loving person. She had sewn a red hood for Ethan to keep them warm when they went outside. Because of the hood, everyone called them Little Red Riding Hood. The hood looked great on Ethan, especially considering their brown eyes and brown hair.

One day, Ethan’s mother asked them to go to their grandmother’s house. Their grandmother was feeling a bit sick and needed care. "Ethan, please go to your grandmother's house. She isn't feeling well and needs your help," said Ethan's mother. "You can take the road. It's longer but safer," she added. Ethan's mother explained this because she knew Ethan was very intelligent and could understand.

Ethan's mother prepared a basket full of delicious food to help care for their grandmother. "Nothing helps an illness better than a meal made with love!" she said. Ethan, or rather, Little Red Riding Hood, left home with their hood and the basket of food, promising to return the next day. Ethan resisted eating any of the food because they were intelligent and knew it was meant for their grandmother.

As soon as Little Red Riding Hood left the house, they met a wolf. The wolf was evil, but he pretended to be kind. "Hello, Little Red Riding Hood! Where are you going?" he asked. Ethan told him they were taking food to their grandmother. The wolf said goodbye and went on his way, and so did Ethan.

Ethan took the longer but safer path. However, what Ethan didn’t know was that the wolf had taken the forest path. He planned to reach their grandmother’s house before Ethan. And so he did.

The wolf arrived at the grandmother’s house and ate the old lady in one bite! When Ethan arrived at their grandmother’s house, the wolf, dressed in the grandmother’s clothes, pretended to be her to deceive Ethan.

Ethan found their grandmother’s appearance strange. "Grandma, why are your eyes so big?" they asked. The wolf, disguised as the grandmother, said it was to see Little Red Riding Hood better. Then Ethan asked, "Why is your nose so big?" The disguised wolf said it was to smell them better! Then Ethan asked, "Why is your mouth so big?" The wolf couldn’t resist any longer and pounced on Ethan, saying, "It’s to taste you better!"

A wise old woodsman, who had magical powers, was walking through the forest. The old man heard Ethan in trouble! Before the wolf could eat Little Red Riding Hood, the old man entered the house and saved the child.

The magical woodsman enchanted the wolf, making him tame and gentle, and put him to sleep. Ethan told the woodsman that the wolf had eaten their grandmother, and the woodsman smiled, saying that no evil could defeat goodness! With just a wave of his hands, he freed the grandmother from the wolf’s belly!

Ethan hugged their beloved grandmother! Ethan, wearing their red hood that covered their straight hair, thanked the woodsman and offered him the delicious food their mother had prepared!

That night, Ethan, their grandmother, and the magical woodsman enjoyed the delicious food made by Ethan's mother. And doesn’t this story make you hungry?
