Little Red Riding Hood with Henry

Little Red Riding Hood with Henry

Once upon a time, there was a child named Henry who lived with their mother in a little house in the mountains. Their home had a big, red door and a small garden with beautiful flowers. Henry loved to play in the garden with their mom, who always told them wonderful stories. Henry loved to hear stories about fish, especially because they had a secret superpower: they could talk to them!

Henry loved to play with fish. They would spend hours by the small lake near their home, talking to the fish. They’d ask the fish about their lives, and the fish would tell them all kinds of amazing things. But more than anything, Henry adored their grandmother! Their grandmother had sewn a red hood to keep Henry warm, and because of this, everyone called them Little Red Riding Hood. The hood looked great on Henry, especially considering their blue eyes and blonde hair.

One day, Henry’s mother asked them to go to their grandmother’s house in the next valley. “Grandma is feeling a bit sick, Henry. She needs some extra love and care,” said their mother. “I’ve prepared a basket full of delicious food to help her get better!” Henry’s mother asked them to take the road, which was longer but safer, instead of the path through the forest, which was more dangerous! “You’re so adventurous, Henry,” said their mother. “And I’m worried something might happen to you in the forest.”

Henry’s mother prepared a basket full of delicious food to help care for their grandmother because nothing helps an illness better than a meal made with love! Henry, or rather, Little Red Riding Hood, left home with their hood and the basket of food, promising to return the next day! Henry resisted eating any of the food, considering their Adventurous personality. “No way, I’m going to save all this food for Grandma!” Henry thought.

As soon as Little Red Riding Hood left the house, they met a wolf. The wolf, who was evil but pretended to be kind, asked where Henry was going. “I’m going to see my grandmother, who is sick,” said Henry. The wolf said goodbye and went on his way, and so did Henry.

Henry took the longer but safer path. However, what Henry didn’t know was that the wolf had taken the forest path and planned to reach their grandmother’s house before them. And so he did!

The wolf arrived at the grandmother’s house and ate the old lady in one bite! When Henry arrived at their grandmother’s house, the wolf, dressed in the grandmother’s clothes, pretended to be her to deceive Henry.

“Hello, dearie. Come in and sit down,” said the wolf in a raspy voice.

Henry found their grandmother’s appearance strange. “Grandma, why are your eyes so big?” asked Henry. “It’s to see you better, Little Red Riding Hood,” said the wolf, disguised as the grandmother. Then Henry asked, “Grandma, why is your nose so big?” “It’s to smell you better,” said the disguised wolf. Then Henry asked, “Grandma, why is your mouth so big?” The wolf couldn’t resist any longer and pounced on Henry, saying, “It’s to taste you better!”

Just then, a wise old woodsman, who had magical powers, was walking through the forest. The old man heard Henry in trouble! Before the wolf could eat Little Red Riding Hood, the old man entered the house and saved the child.

The magical woodsman enchanted the wolf, making him tame and gentle, and put him to sleep. Henry told the woodsman that the wolf had eaten their grandmother, and the woodsman smiled, saying that no evil could defeat goodness! With just a wave of his hands, he freed the grandmother from the wolf’s belly!

Henry hugged their beloved grandmother! Henry, wearing their red hood that covered their wavy hair, thanked the woodsman and offered him the delicious food their mother had prepared!

That night, Henry, their grandmother, and the magical woodsman enjoyed the delicious food made by Henry’s mother.
