This story begins a few years ago… Even before Jackson was born… There was a big party in a magical kingdom, the one Jackson knew how to get to through his dreams and imagination. But anyway, the story starts before all of that.
The kingdom was celebrating the birth of Princess Aurora! She was the daughter of the king and queen, who had wanted a baby for a long time. They were so happy she was finally here!
Many fairies came to the party and gave Princess Aurora the best gifts. They gave her gifts like being smart, being kind, and being humble. But one fairy wasn't a good fairy. The gift she gave Princess Aurora was actually a curse! When the princess grew up, she would prick her finger on a spinning wheel and die.
Everyone in the kingdom was happy, though. They couldn't take back the gifts the fairies had given. But then a funny little fairy came to the party late. She could fix the curse! The princess would still prick her finger, but she wouldn't die. Instead, she would sleep forever until someone she loved kissed her.
Years went by, and there weren't any spinning wheels in the kingdom. Everyone learned to sew with sticks and thread. They had to keep the princess safe!
But when she was a teenager, Princess Aurora found a spinning wheel. She had never seen one before, and it looked easy to use! She decided to try it out. But the curse was real, and she quickly pricked her finger! That made the princess and the whole kingdom fall asleep for many, many years.
It was at this moment that Jackson came into the story! One day, he was playing in the world of his imagination. He was practicing his superpower, breathing fire! Suddenly, he saw a young man sitting on a big rock. He was wearing a fancy outfit, like a prince!
The prince smiled at Jackson and said, “Hey there! Do you like adventures?”
Jackson said, “Yes! I love them, especially in magical kingdoms!”
“Well, I have an amazing adventure for you,” the prince said. “We’re going to save a princess!”
Jackson was so excited! He loved dragons and princesses. He quickly agreed to go with the prince.
“Okay, this is how we’re going to do it,” the prince said. “I’ll use my magic to get us to the princess’s castle, but we need to be careful. The castle is surrounded by a huge forest. We might need your help with that!”
Jackson nodded and smiled. He couldn’t wait to use his superpower!
The prince waved his hand, and suddenly they were standing in front of a castle. It was covered in leaves. A big forest had grown around it while the princess was asleep!
The prince and Jackson looked at the tall tower where the princess was sleeping.
“We need to get to the top of the tower,” the prince said, looking at the forest around them. “We need to climb the trees and be careful. The forest is dangerous!”
They started climbing the trees, but they soon found themselves in trouble. Flowers had thorns that were as sharp as knives! The tree trunks moved and blocked their path. Even worse, they saw monstrous creatures that tried to grab them!
Jackson was scared, but he remembered his bravery. He breathed fire at the creatures and melted the thorns away! The prince used his magic to clear the path.
Finally, they reached the tower! The prince led Jackson to the top, where the princess was sleeping in her bed. He leaned down and kissed the princess gently on the lips.
Suddenly, Princess Aurora opened her eyes and smiled! The whole kingdom woke up, too!
The forest around the castle started to disappear. The leaves fell away, and the flowers bloomed. Everything was bright and magical again!
Princess Aurora was so happy to see her true love, and she was happy to see Jackson, too.
“Thank you for helping me,” she said to Jackson. “I love dragons! You can come and play in the castle whenever you want!”
Jackson was so happy. He said, “I’ll be here whenever my imagination takes me to your kingdom!”
And on that day, Jackson knew he would live happily ever after!
