The Three Little Pigs with Benjamin

The Three Little Pigs with Benjamin

Once upon a time, there was a curious and adventurous child named Benjamin. He loved to go on walks in the forest, dreaming about pirates and their exciting adventures. One sunny day, Benjamin was exploring a grassy clearing, watching a trail of ants when he heard some voices. His courageous heart made him want to find out what was going on, so he quietly followed the sound.

As he peeked through the bushes, Benjamin saw three little piglets! The first piglet, with her curly tail and big, bright eyes, was giggling as she built a house out of straw. The second piglet, who had a pink nose and a wobbly walk, was using sticks and branches to build a small cabin. The third piglet, with her little, pink ears and a shy smile, was carefully building a house from bricks.

"Hello!" called the little piglets all at once, before even saying their names. "Do you live in a house?" they asked, looking at Benjamin with curious eyes.

Benjamin was a little confused. "Of course I live in a house!" he exclaimed. "It's in Austin, and it's a cozy home with my family."

The youngest piglet, who was the one building with bricks, explained, "We left our mother's house because we grew up! She said we need to build our own houses because the forest is dangerous, especially from a wolf who loves to eat piglets!"

Benjamin was shocked! Piglets were so young and could be eaten by a wolf? He thought about the pirates he loved to read about and how brave they were. "I can help you build your houses!" he said with a smile.

Each piglet wanted to build her house her own way. The first piglet, the one with the curly tail, quickly tied up straw into big blocks. She didn't even bother with a door or window! She just wanted to finish quickly so she could go play! She called for Benjamin, but he said they would help each of the piglets a little, so everyone could play together. Benjamin loved to play with his superpower, breathing underwater, for example.

The second piglet, the one with the wobbly walk, decided to gather wood from the forest. She built her cabin with a roof, doors, and windows. But she saw her sister playing and didn't worry about putting in many nails. Finally, she went to play too! Benjamin then went to help the third piglet.

The third piglet wanted to build a house just like her mother's, with bricks, cement, glass windows, and a strong roof. It took time. Benjamin and she sweated with all that work! But they laughed while doing it! Meanwhile, they saw the two other piglets having fun.

When they finished, the third piglet invited Benjamin to eat something in her new house! Benjamin was excited, thinking about all the stories he had read about pirates and how they cooked on their ships. They could cook something on the wood stove they had built!

That night, a wolf appeared! The piglets and Benjamin were scared! The wolf went straight to the straw house and with just one strong blow, knocked the whole house down! The piglet who lived there ran through the dark forest without the wolf being able to catch her. Benjamin worried and said they could go to his hiding place, Treehouse, if needed!

The wolf, hungry and impatient, went straight to the wooden cabin. It took two strong blows, and soon the house fell apart. The second piglet ran and found her sister hiding in the forest.

The wolf, already irritated, went to blow down the third house, made of bricks, from which a delicious smell was coming out of the chimney. He blew, blew, blew, and nothing. The house didn't fall. So he decided to go down the chimney! It seemed like a good idea! And when he started to descend, he smelled something burning! His tail was on fire!

This time, it was the wolf who was scared and quickly ran away!

The two hiding piglets laughed when they saw the wolf running away and finally were able to return. Their sister welcomed them, and along with Benjamin, they had a delicious soup! It felt good to feel welcomed, inside a warm and safe house!

And so, Benjamin and the three little piglets enjoyed that night, realizing that sometimes, good things take time!
