Once upon a time, there was a curious and adventurous child named Isabella. She loved to go on walks in the forest, where she'd dream about her favorite dolls. One sunny afternoon, Isabella was exploring a grassy clearing. She was watching a trail of ants when she heard some voices. She giggled, because she loved to hear funny things, and decided to follow the voices to see who was talking.
Isabella soon found three tiny piglets! They were all different: one had curly pink hair, one had a tiny pink tail, and one had a big pink smile. The piglets immediately called out to Isabella, and before they even said hello, they asked, "Do you live in a house?"
Isabella was confused. Of course she lived in a house! She lived in a cozy house in Los Angeles with her family. "Yes, I do," Isabella said.
"Oh, good!" the youngest piglet said. "My sisters and I left our mother's house because we're all grown up now! Our mother said we should build our own houses because the forest has dangers, like a big, scary wolf who loves to eat piglets!"
Isabella's eyes got big. She was only four years old, but she knew that wolves were scary! "I can help you!" she said.
The piglets were so happy! Each piglet was going to build her own house. The first piglet decided to build her house out of straw. She tied the straw together in big blocks, but she didn't even make a door or window! She wanted to finish quickly so she could play! She called to Isabella, "Come on, Isabella, let's play!" But Isabella said, "We'll help all three of you a little bit, then we can play together." Isabella loved to use her special power, which was to bring toys to life!
The second piglet decided to gather wood from the forest and build a cabin with a roof, doors, and windows. But she saw her sister playing and didn't worry about putting in many nails. Soon, she went to play too! Isabella then went to help the third piglet.
The third piglet wanted to build a house like their mother's, with bricks, cement, glass windows, and a strong roof. It took a long time to build. Isabella and the piglet sweated from all the work! But they laughed while they built! Meanwhile, they could see the two other piglets playing happily.
When the third piglet and Isabella finally finished, the piglet invited Isabella to eat something in her new house! "We can cook something on the wood stove we built!" Isabella was excited. She loved to cook!
That night, the wolf appeared! The piglets and Isabella were scared! The wolf went straight to the straw house and with one strong blow, knocked the whole house down! The piglet who lived there ran through the dark forest, trying to escape the wolf. "Oh no!" Isabella cried. "We can go to my secret hiding place, Dream Island, if we need to!"
The wolf, who was hungry and didn't want to waste time, went straight to the wooden cabin. It took two strong blows, and soon the house fell apart. The second piglet ran and found her sister hiding in the forest.
The wolf, already irritated, went to blow down the third house, made of bricks, from which a delicious smell was coming out of the chimney. He blew, blew, blew, and nothing! The house didn't fall. So he decided to go down the chimney! It seemed like a good idea! And when he started to descend, he smelled something burning! His tail was on fire!
This time, it was the wolf who was scared! He quickly ran away from there!
The two hiding piglets laughed when they saw the wolf running away and finally were able to return. Their sister welcomed them, and along with Isabella, they had a delicious soup! It felt good to feel welcomed, inside a warm and safe house!
And so, Isabella and the three little piglets enjoyed that night, realizing that sometimes, good things take time!
