The Three Little Pigs with Matthew

The Three Little Pigs with Matthew

Once upon a time, there was a curious and adventurous child named Matthew. Matthew had brown hair, black eyes, and loved to go on walks. During his walks, Matthew would dream about cars. He would imagine himself driving a fast race car, zooming through the streets. One day, besides dreaming about cars, Matthew was exploring some insects in a grassy clearing in the middle of a forest.

He was watching a trail of ants when he heard some voices. "This sounds interesting!" Matthew thought. His energetic personality made him curious, and he decided to find out what all the conversation was about in the middle of the forest! He followed the voices, his eyes wide with wonder.

Matthew soon found three little sister piglets! The piglets were very funny. One was very small and had a curly tail. Another one had big ears that stuck out. The third piglet had a tiny spot on her nose. They looked so excited and happy to be in the forest!

The piglets immediately called Matthew over. “Hello!” they shouted. Before even introducing themselves, they asked, "Do you live in a house?"

Matthew was a little confused. “Of course, I live in a house! It's in Fort Worth, and it's a cozy home that I share with my family."

"Oh, that's nice!" said the youngest piglet. She explained that she and her sisters had left their mother's house because they had grown up! Their mother told them that they should build a house because the forest has dangers. There was a wolf who loved to eat piglets! Matthew was scared! It was scary to think about a wolf eating piglets! He was only six years old!

"Don't worry!" Matthew said bravely. "I can help you build houses!" He felt a little bit scared but also excited to help.

Each of the piglets was going to build her own house. The first piglet decided to use straw. She tied it up in big blocks, but she didn't even make a door or window! She wanted to finish quickly so she could go play! "Matthew, come play!" she called. But Matthew said, "We'll help all three of you, a little bit each. Then we can all play together." Matthew loved to play with his superpower, running like a race car.

The second piglet decided to gather wood from the forest. She built her cabin with a roof, doors, and windows. But she saw her sister playing and didn't worry about putting in many nails. Finally, she went to play too! Then, Matthew went to help the third piglet.

The third piglet wanted to build a house like her mother's, with bricks, cement, glass windows, and a secure roof. It took time! Matthew and the piglet sweated with all that work! But they laughed while doing it! Meanwhile, they saw the other two piglets having lots of fun.

When the third piglet and Matthew finished the whole job, the piglet invited Matthew to eat something in her new house! Matthew was excited! They could cook something on the wood stove they had built.

That night, the wolf appeared! The piglets and Matthew were scared! The wolf went straight to the straw house and with just one strong blow, knocked the whole house down! The piglet who lived there ran through the dark forest without the wolf being able to catch her. Matthew worried and said, “We can go to our hiding place, Car World, if we need to!"

The wolf, who was hungry and didn't want to waste time, went straight to the wooden cabin. It took two strong blows, and soon the house fell apart. The second piglet ran and found her sister hiding in the forest.

The wolf, already irritated, went to blow down the third house. A delicious smell was coming out of the chimney. He blew, blew, blew, and nothing. The house didn't fall. So he decided to go down the chimney! It seemed like a good idea! And when he started to descend, he smelled something burning! His tail was on fire!

This time, it was the wolf who was scared. He quickly ran away from there!

The two hiding piglets laughed when they saw the wolf running away. Finally, they were able to return. Their sister welcomed them, and along with Matthew, they had a delicious soup! It felt good to feel welcomed, inside a warm and safe house!

And so, Matthew and the three little piglets enjoyed that night, realizing that sometimes, good things take time!
