Liam sniffed the air. It smelled like sunshine and pancakes! He hopped out of bed and zoomed to the kitchen.
"Good morning, my little dinosaur!" Mom said, flipping a pancake high in the air. Liam giggled as it landed back on the pan. "Are you ready for a busy day? We're moving to our new house today!"
Liam loved dinosaurs, but moving sounded a little scary. What if his toys didn't like the new house? What if he couldn't find his dinosaur pajamas? He frowned.
Mom saw his worried face and knelt down. "Hey, it's okay to feel a little nervous about new things. But guess what? I heard there's a Magician in our new town who lives in an Enchanted Castle!"
Liam’s eyes widened. A Magician? An Enchanted Castle? Maybe moving wouldn’t be so bad after all!
Later that day, Liam stood with Mom in front of their new house. It was big and blue with a porch swing that looked like a pirate ship. Liam was about to climb aboard when Mom pointed.
"Look, Liam! There's the Enchanted Castle!"
On top of a hill, behind their new house, stood the most amazing castle Liam had ever seen! It shimmered with a thousand colors, and flags with pictures of stars and moons fluttered from its towers.
Suddenly, a colorful bird with giant wings swooped down from the castle. It landed gently in front of Liam and spoke in a squeaky voice.
"Greetings! The Magician invites you to the Enchanted Castle!"
Liam was so excited! He grabbed Mom's hand. “Can we go, Mom? Please?”
Mom smiled. “Of course, sweetie!”
The bird led them up a winding path to the castle. As they entered the giant front gate, Liam gasped. There were sparkling waterfalls, trees with rainbow leaves, and fluffy bunnies hopping everywhere!
Inside, the Magician, a kind-looking man with a long white beard, greeted them. He wore a pointy hat covered in twinkling stars.
"Welcome! I heard you were moving to my town," the Magician boomed.
"Yes," Liam said shyly. "I'm a little scared about living in a new house."
The Magician chuckled. "Ah, yes. Change can be a bit scary. But it can also be magical! Tell you what, why don’t I help you unpack your toys with a magic spell?”
Liam’s jaw dropped. "You can do that?"
The Magician winked. "Of course! I'm a magician! Now, close your eyes and make a wish!"
Liam squeezed his eyes shut and wished with all his might that his toys would love their new home. When he opened his eyes, all his toys were neatly arranged in his new room!
Liam was so happy he jumped up and down. "Wow! Thank you, Magician!"
The Magician smiled. "You're very welcome, Liam. Remember, even when things change, the magic of home is always with you."
Liam hugged his Mom tight. He knew, even though they had a new house, home was wherever Mom was, and that was pretty magical too!
