Little Red Riding Hood with Amelia

Little Red Riding Hood with Amelia

Once upon a time, there was a child named Amelia who lived with their mother in a little house in the mountains… The house was small but cozy, with flower boxes blooming outside the windows. Amelia’s mother was a baker, and the house always smelled like freshly baked bread.

Amelia loved to play in the fields of flowers around their home. They were a dreamer, always imagining that the flowers were talking to them, sharing their secrets. More than anything, Amelia adored their grandmother. She had sewn a red hood to keep Amelia warm, and because of this, everyone called them Little Red Riding Hood. The hood looked great on Amelia, especially considering her green eyes and blonde hair.

One day, Amelia’s mother asked them to go to their grandmother’s house in the next valley. Their grandmother was feeling a bit sick and needed care. "Amelia," said her mother, "I know you love the forest path, but it’s dangerous. Take the road, even if it is longer, it’s much safer." Her mother knew that Amelia was a dreamer and that the forest could sometimes be a little scary.

Amelia’s mother prepared a basket full of delicious food to help care for their grandmother. Nothing helps an illness better than a meal made with love! "Don't eat any of the food on your way, honey," said Amelia’s mother. "Save it for your grandmother!" Amelia, or rather, Little Red Riding Hood, left home with their hood and the basket of food, promising to return the next day. Amelia resisted eating any of the food, considering her Dreamer personality. She would save it for her grandmother!

As soon as Little Red Riding Hood left the house, she met a wolf. The wolf, who was evil but pretended to be kind, asked, "Where are you going, little girl?" Amelia told him, "I’m taking food to my grandmother. She’s sick." The wolf said goodbye and went on his way, and so did Amelia.

Amelia took the longer but safer path. However, what Amelia didn’t know was that the wolf had taken the forest path and planned to reach their grandmother’s house before her. And so he did.

The wolf arrived at the grandmother’s house and ate the old lady in one bite! When Amelia arrived at her grandmother’s house, the wolf, dressed in the grandmother’s clothes, pretended to be her to deceive Amelia. "My, my, how big your eyes are," said Amelia. "They are so big so I can see you better, my dear," replied the wolf, disguised as the grandmother. Then Amelia asked, "Why is your nose so big?" "It’s so big to smell you better, my dear!" said the disguised wolf. Finally, Amelia asked, "Why is your mouth so big?" The wolf couldn’t resist any longer and pounced on Amelia, saying, "It’s so big to taste you better!"

A wise old woodsman, who had magical powers, was walking through the forest. The old man heard Amelia in trouble! Before the wolf could eat Little Red Riding Hood, the old man entered the house and saved the child.

The magical woodsman enchanted the wolf, making him tame and gentle, and put him to sleep. Amelia told the woodsman that the wolf had eaten her grandmother. The woodsman smiled, saying that no evil could defeat goodness! With just a wave of his hands, he freed the grandmother from the wolf’s belly!

Amelia hugged her beloved grandmother! Wearing her red hood that covered her straight hair, Amelia thanked the woodsman and offered him the delicious food her mother had prepared!

That night, Amelia, her grandmother, and the magical woodsman enjoyed the delicious food made by Amelia’s mother. And doesn’t this story make you hungry?
