Little Red Riding Hood with Lucas

Little Red Riding Hood with Lucas

Once upon a time, there was a child named Lucas who lived with their mother in a little house in the mountains. The house was cozy and warm, with lots of sunshine coming in through the windows. Their mom always had a smile on her face, and they loved playing with her in the garden.

Lucas was an adventurous child who loved to play with wild animals! They would spend hours in the woods, making friends with squirrels and rabbits. But more than anything, Lucas adored their grandmother. She lived in a house in the next valley. She had sewn a red hood to keep Lucas warm, and everyone called them Little Red Riding Hood. The hood looked great on Lucas, especially considering their green eyes and black, curly hair!

One day, Lucas’s mother asked them to go to their grandmother’s house. Their grandmother was feeling a bit sick and needed care. “Lucas, I know you like to explore the woods,” their mother said, “but it’s important to take the road, which is longer but safer. It’s not safe to go through the forest.” Lucas’s mother knew about their adventurous personality!

Lucas’s mother prepared a basket full of delicious food. There were juicy apples, sweet cookies, and warm bread. “Nothing helps an illness better than a meal made with love!” she said. Lucas, or rather, Little Red Riding Hood, left home with their hood and the basket of food, promising to return the next day. Lucas resisted eating any of the food because of their adventurous personality.

As soon as Little Red Riding Hood left the house, they met a wolf. The wolf, who was evil but pretended to be kind, asked where Lucas was going. “I’m taking food to my grandmother,” said Lucas. The wolf said goodbye and went on his way. And so did Lucas.

Lucas took the longer but safer path. However, what Lucas didn’t know was that the wolf had taken the forest path and planned to reach their grandmother’s house before them. And so he did!

The wolf arrived at the grandmother’s house and ate the old lady in one bite! When Lucas arrived at their grandmother’s house, the wolf, dressed in the grandmother’s clothes, pretended to be her to deceive Lucas.

Lucas found their grandmother’s appearance strange. “Why are your eyes so big?” Lucas asked. The wolf, disguised as the grandmother, said it was to see Little Red Riding Hood better. “Why is your nose so big?” Lucas asked. The disguised wolf said it was to smell them better! “Why is your mouth so big?” Lucas asked. The wolf couldn’t resist any longer and pounced on Lucas, saying, “It’s to taste you better!”

But just then, a wise old woodsman, who had magical powers, was walking through the forest. The old man heard Lucas in trouble! Before the wolf could eat Little Red Riding Hood, the old man entered the house and saved the child.

The magical woodsman enchanted the wolf, making him tame and gentle, and put him to sleep. Lucas told the woodsman that the wolf had eaten their grandmother. The woodsman smiled, saying that no evil could defeat goodness! With just a wave of his hands, he freed the grandmother from the wolf’s belly!

Lucas hugged their beloved grandmother. Lucas, wearing their red hood that covered their curly hair, thanked the woodsman and offered him the delicious food their mother had prepared.

That night, Lucas, their grandmother, and the magical woodsman enjoyed the delicious food made by Lucas’s mother. And doesn’t this story make you hungry?
