Little Red Riding Hood with Olivia

Little Red Riding Hood with Olivia

Once upon a time, there was a child named Olivia who lived with their mother in a little house in the mountains. Their house was small and cozy, with a big fireplace and a garden full of flowers. Olivia loved to play in the garden, especially with her mother. They loved to play Fairies, with Olivia being the Fairy Queen. But more than anything, Olivia adored their grandmother!

Olivia’s grandmother had sewn a red hood to keep Olivia warm, and because of this, everyone called them Little Red Riding Hood. The hood looked great on Olivia, especially considering their black eyes and brown hair. Olivia’s grandmother lived in the valley below, and Olivia loved to visit her.

One day, Olivia’s mother asked them to go to their grandmother’s house. “Grandmother is feeling a bit sick and needs care,” said Olivia’s mother. “But I need you to take the road, which is longer but safer, instead of the path through the forest, which is more dangerous. I know you are curious, but it is safer for you to take the road.” Olivia nodded.

Olivia’s mother prepared a basket full of delicious food to help care for their grandmother. “Nothing helps an illness better than a meal made with love!” she said. Little Red Riding Hood left home with their hood and the basket of food, promising to return the next day. Olivia resisted eating any of the food. “I’ll save it for my grandmother,” she said.

As soon as she left the house, Little Red Riding Hood met a wolf. The wolf was evil but pretended to be kind. “Hello, Little Red Riding Hood,” he said. “Where are you going?” “I’m taking food to my grandmother,” Olivia said. “Goodbye,” said the wolf, and he went on his way.

Olivia took the longer but safer path. However, what Olivia didn’t know was that the wolf had taken the forest path and planned to reach their grandmother’s house before her. And so he did.

The wolf arrived at the grandmother’s house and ate the old lady in one bite! When Olivia arrived at her grandmother’s house, the wolf, dressed in the grandmother’s clothes, pretended to be her to deceive Olivia. “Come in, my dear,” said the wolf, pretending to be the grandmother. “Why, Grandmother, what big eyes you have,” said Olivia. “That’s so I can see you better, Little Red Riding Hood,” said the wolf. “And what a big nose you have, Grandmother,” said Olivia. “That’s so I can smell you better, Little Red Riding Hood,” said the wolf. “And what a big mouth you have, Grandmother,” said Olivia. The wolf couldn’t resist any longer and pounced on Olivia, saying, “That’s so I can taste you better!”

A wise old woodsman, who had magical powers, was walking through the forest. The old man heard Olivia in trouble! Before the wolf could eat Little Red Riding Hood, the old man entered the house and saved the child.

The magical woodsman enchanted the wolf, making him tame and gentle, and put him to sleep. Olivia told the woodsman that the wolf had eaten her grandmother. The woodsman smiled and said, “No evil can defeat goodness!” With just a wave of his hands, he freed the grandmother from the wolf’s belly!

Olivia hugged her beloved grandmother. Olivia, wearing her red hood that covered her straight hair, thanked the woodsman and offered him the delicious food her mother had prepared!

That night, Olivia, her grandmother, and the magical woodsman enjoyed the delicious food made by Olivia’s mother. And doesn’t this story make you hungry?
