Puss in Boots with Emily

Puss in Boots with Emily

Once upon a time, there was a boy named Pedro. Pedro was Emily’s friend. They loved to play together in the garden. They both loved flowers. One day, Pedro met Emily in the garden. He looked very sad.

“My father passed away,” Pedro said to Emily.

“I’m so sorry,” Emily said. “He loved flowers too, didn’t he?”

“Yes, he did,” Pedro said. “He left his things to his brothers. He left the family windmill to my older brother, a pack mule to my middle brother, and just a cat to me.”

“Oh, Pedro!” Emily said. “How are you going to survive with just a cat?”

“I’ll figure something out,” Pedro said.

“I’ll help you,” Emily said.

Suddenly, the cat jumped off Pedro’s shoulder. “If you get me a pair of leather boots,” the cat said, “I can be very useful to Pedro!”

Emily and Pedro went to their piggy bank. They had been saving their coins for a long time. They had enough money to buy a pair of leather boots for the cat!

“Do you want to go with me?” the cat asked Pedro and Emily.

“I’ll stay with my brothers,” Pedro said.

“I’ll go!” Emily said. Emily loved adventures!

The cat and Emily walked to the enchanted forest near Emily’s house in Philadelphia. The cat was a good hunter and soon caught two hens!

“It is amazing to have a cat like you!” Emily said. She smiled.

The cat and Emily walked through the forest. Emily could make flowers bloom instantly!

“I can make flowers bloom!” Emily said, showing the cat her power.

“This is going to be fun!” the cat said. “Trust me, Emily. I have a plan! You’ll understand soon.”

The cat and Emily walked until they reached the enchanted castle. The cat and Emily gave the two hens to one of the king’s servants.

“These hens are a gift from a young man who recently moved to the kingdom,” the cat said.

“Thank you!” the king’s servant said. “I’ll take these hens to the king.”

Soon, the cat and Emily were back in the garden, where Pedro was playing by himself.

“The king is going to love the hens!” the cat said to Pedro and Emily.

“I don’t understand your plan, cat,” Pedro said to Emily.

“Me neither,” Emily said.

They played in the garden. Pedro and Emily decided to swim in the pond near their garden. They were having fun.

Suddenly, the cat ran up to Pedro and Emily.

“Stay here! Don’t move! This is part of the plan!” the cat said.

A royal carriage came close to the pond where Pedro and Emily were playing. The cat ran towards the carriage.

“Someone stole my young master’s clothes and my young mistress’ clothes!” the cat said to the king.

The king was a kind man. “Come with me!” he said. “I will arrange for new clothes for you!”

Emily thanked the king. She was always so kind.

“I know the lands of my young master Pedro,” the cat said to the king. “Would you like to see them?”

The king agreed. The cat directed the carriage to the castle of a powerful ogre.

Pedro didn’t know what was happening, but he was enjoying the adventure. He had never been to the castle of a powerful ogre before!

The cat jumped out of the carriage first. “Pedro, show the king your lands!” the cat said to Pedro.

“I’ll play along,” Emily said.

The cat walked into the castle. Soon, the ogre asked, “What is a cat doing in my castle?”

The cat was clever. “I admire your magical powers. Could you turn into a lion?” the cat asked the ogre.

The ogre wanted to show off his magic. He turned into a lion.

“Could you turn into a mouse?” the cat asked.

The ogre wanted to show off his magic again. He turned into a mouse.

Then, the cat turned into a lion and ate the mouse!

Now, the castle belonged to Pedro. Emily was very happy. They could play a lot in the castle!

The cat, who also had magic powers, turned back into a cat.

“Come on in!” the cat said to the king, Pedro, and Emily.

The king was amazed by the castle. “This is beautiful!” he said.

The king was even more amazed by Pedro and Emily. “You are so humble,” the king said.

“I have a daughter. Perhaps Pedro and my daughter would make a lovely couple,” the king said.

“That’s wonderful!” Pedro said.

“It’s great!” Emily said.

Pedro and Emily were excited to meet the princess. But they decided to tell the truth.

“We need to tell the king the truth about the cat,” Pedro said to Emily.

“Yes,” Emily said.

“We couldn’t have done this without the cat,” Pedro said to the king.

“He had a plan all along!” Emily said.

The king was very happy! “It is wonderful to know that you are honest and kind!” he said.

After that day, Pedro, Emily, the cat, and the princess played together in the garden every day. They all loved flowers.

This truly is a happily ever after!
