Sleeping Beauty with Abigail

Sleeping Beauty with Abigail

This story begins a few years ago… Even before Abigail was born… There was a celebration happening in the enchanted kingdom, the one that Abigail knew how to reach through the path of dreams and imagination. But anyway, the story begins before that. They were celebrating the birth of Princess Aurora, the daughter of the king and queen of the kingdom. The king and queen had tried for many years to have a child, and she finally came! Some fairies attended the party and bestowed the princess with the best virtues and gifts, like intelligence, kindness, and humility. But one of the fairies was not good! And the gift she gave to Princess Aurora was, in fact, a curse! The princess would prick her finger on a spindle when she became an adult and die.

Everyone in the kingdom was very happy, after all, they couldn't take away the gifts given by the fairies. But then, a very funny little fairy arrived late and managed to reverse the curse! The princess would indeed prick her finger, but she would not die. Instead, she would sleep forever until she received a kiss from her true love.

Years went by, and there were no spindles in the kingdom! Everyone learned to sew with sticks and threads. The princess needed to be protected! But when she was a teenager, she found a spindle, an object she had never seen before, and decided to use it! After all, it would be much easier to sew with a spindle! But the curse was set, and the princess quickly pricked her finger, causing her and the entire kingdom to fall into a deep sleep for many, many years…

It was at this moment that Abigail entered the story! One day, while wandering through the paths of her imagination, playing with her superpower, Swimming like a mermaid, she met a young man who told her this story! She was swimming around a giant clam when she saw a little face peering in. "Hello!" Abigail said. "I am the prince of the kingdom next door!" He said his name was Eric, and he was searching for Princess Aurora. "You look very sad," Abigail said. "Can I help you?" Eric explained the story about the princess and the curse, and Abigail was captivated.

Eric invited Abigail on a great adventure! Together, they would reach the enchanted kingdom of Princess Aurora and free her from the deep sleep! Abigail, who loved an adventure, especially in enchanted kingdoms, accepted the invitation! They swam together, quickly reaching the castle of the enchanted and sleeping kingdom.

When they arrived, the castle was all covered in leaves. A huge forest had grown around it over the years that had passed… Abigail thought it looked like a giant green blanket, but Eric explained that it was a forest.

Eric and Abigail discussed a plan to reach the castle tower. The best plan was to use Abigail’s superpower: Swimming like a mermaid! Abigail explained that she was so good at swimming, she could swim like a mermaid. It was the perfect way to sneak through the forest.

They began their journey, but they encountered many challenges! Flowers sprouted thorns out of nowhere, and the tree trunks moved and blocked paths. There were monstrous creatures that the prince and Abigail had to battle. Abigail, with her superpower, was able to swim through the forest, avoiding the thorns, moving around the trees, and even using her tail to push away the monsters!

When they finally reached the castle, the prince and Abigail went straight to the tower where Princess Aurora was. As if by magic, with Abigail always rooting for her faithful friend the prince, the prince kissed Princess Aurora's lips, and she, along with the entire kingdom, awoke!

Slowly, the forest around the castle began to disappear. And everything became bright and enchanted once again! Princess Aurora was very happy to have found her true love and Abigail! She sweetly invited Abigail to play in the castle whenever they wanted! Princess Aurora loved mermaids, too! Abigail was very happy with the invitation and said she would come whenever her imagination wandered to the enchanted kingdom…

And on that day, Abigail knew she would live happily ever after!
