This story begins a few years ago… Even before Sophia was born…
There was a big party in an enchanted kingdom! It was the biggest party anyone had ever seen. The king and queen were so happy because their baby girl, Princess Aurora, had finally arrived! They had tried for a long time to have a baby, so everyone was excited.
Many fairies came to the party. Each fairy gave Princess Aurora a special gift. Some fairies gave her intelligence, kindness, and even a big heart! But one of the fairies wasn’t very nice. Her gift was a curse! Princess Aurora would prick her finger on a spindle when she grew up, and then she would die!
Everyone was sad because they couldn’t take back the fairies’ gifts. But then, a little fairy arrived late. She was so funny and had a giggle that made everyone laugh. She said she could fix the curse! Instead of dying, Princess Aurora would just fall asleep forever until someone gave her a kiss!
The king and queen decided that all the spindles in the kingdom should be hidden. No one wanted Princess Aurora to get hurt! Everyone learned to sew with sticks and threads instead. The princess needed to be safe!
Years went by. Princess Aurora was now a teenager. She had never seen a spindle before. It looked so cool! It was a lot easier to sew with a spindle, so she tried it. Oh no! The curse was true. Princess Aurora pricked her finger and fell into a deep sleep! The entire kingdom fell asleep too!
It was at this moment that Sophia entered the story! One day, Sophia was playing in her dream world, using her superpower Teleportation. She was jumping from cloud to cloud, giggling. Suddenly, she saw a boy hiding behind a big, fluffy cloud! He had brown hair and wore a sparkly crown.
“Hello,” the boy said. “My name is Prince Leo. I need your help!”
“Why?” asked Sophia, tilting her head.
“There’s a princess trapped in a deep sleep. Only someone special can wake her up!”
Sophia loved adventures, especially in enchanted kingdoms! And she loved dolls! “Of course, I’ll help!” she said.
Prince Leo explained that he had travelled far and wide, and he knew the princess was in a kingdom called Everlasting Sleep. "Let’s go,” he said.
Sophia and Prince Leo closed their eyes. They held hands, and Sophia used her Teleportation power to send them to the Everlasting Sleep kingdom. When they opened their eyes, they saw a big castle surrounded by a giant forest! It looked like the castle had been sleeping for a long time.
“How will we get to the princess?” asked Sophia.
“We have to climb up the tower, Sophia!” said Prince Leo. “But it’s going to be tricky. The forest is full of magical dangers!”
Sophia’s eyes sparkled. She loved challenges! The two friends started their journey. The forest was full of amazing things! The flowers had sharp thorns that tried to poke them, the trees moved around to block their path, and there were even a few scary-looking creatures!
“Oh no!” yelled Sophia. “We have to use my Teleportation power!”
With a flash, Sophia and Prince Leo moved to a safer spot. They continued walking until they finally reached the castle tower.
Prince Leo climbed the stairs, reaching the top, where Princess Aurora was sleeping. He looked at the sleeping princess. She was very beautiful, even in her sleep.
“Let’s do this,” he said.
Then, with Sophia cheering him on, Prince Leo leaned down and kissed Princess Aurora.
And then… a miracle happened!
Princess Aurora’s eyes opened! She was so happy to be awake. She smiled at the handsome prince, and then she saw Sophia!
“You’re amazing!” she said. “Thank you for waking me up!”
Slowly, the forest around the castle began to disappear. The sunshine came out, and the flowers bloomed. The kingdom was awake again!
“I’m so happy you’re awake!” said Sophia, waving her little hand.
“Thank you both!” said Princess Aurora. “You are my heroes! Would you like to stay and play in my castle?”
Sophia’s eyes lit up. “I love playing! I love dolls!”
And on that day, Sophia knew they would live happily ever after!
