The Day Noah Visited the Doctor in Space

The Day Noah Visited the Doctor in Space

Noah zoomed around the living room, pretending his pajamas were a spacesuit. "Beep! Beep! I'm a spaceship on my way to Mars!" he shouted, giggling.

Mom smiled from the kitchen table, where she was drawing a picture of a funny purple dog with three eyes. "That sounds like fun, Noah," she said, "But don't forget, we have to visit the doctor today for your checkup!"

Noah stopped zooming. He wasn't too excited about the doctor. He liked his doctor, but he'd rather play spaceship all day. Mom always said going to the doctor was a good thing, though. It meant they cared about him being healthy.

Suddenly, the lights flickered. The room began to spin, faster and faster, and Noah closed his eyes tight. When he opened them, he was staring at a giant, colorful castle made of shimmering stone!

"Wow!" Noah gasped.

"Welcome to the Enchanted Castle!" a friendly voice boomed. A girl with sparkling wings and a big smile floated before them. "I'm Luna! This is where we take care of everyone's health and happiness!"

Noah felt braver already. "This is way cooler than the doctor's office," he whispered to his mom.

Luna giggled. "We like to make it fun! Now, what brings you two here?"

Mom explained that Noah needed a checkup. Luna led them through the castle, past rooms filled with bubbling potions, talking animals, and children laughing. It was like walking through one of Mom's drawings! Finally, they arrived at a room filled with soft, fluffy clouds.

"This is where we do checkups!" Luna announced.

Noah saw a big, friendly dog napping on a cloud. The dog had the same sparkly fur as Luna, and when it opened its eyes, they were a kind, gentle blue. Noah loved dogs! He forgot all about being nervous.

"This is Comet," Luna said. "He loves to help with checkups! Don't worry, it doesn't hurt at all."

Comet wagged his tail and licked Noah's hand. Noah giggled. Comet sniffed Noah all over, and then, he barked once, loud and clear.

"Comet says you're a very healthy boy, Noah!" Luna said, smiling. "But he also says you need to eat more fruits and vegetables! Maybe some space carrots and moon berries?"

Noah giggled again. He loved the sound of space carrots and moon berries!

"Thank you, Luna! Thank you, Comet!" Noah called as they waved goodbye and stepped back onto the swirling platform. The castle spun them around and around until, with a final flash of light, they were back in their living room.

"That was the best doctor's visit ever!" Noah exclaimed, hugging Mom. He couldn’t wait to tell everyone about the Enchanted Castle and the amazing space dog named Comet! Mom smiled and patted his head.

“I’m glad you had fun,” she said. “Now, how about some of those space carrots and moon berries? I hear they're very healthy!”

Noah laughed and raced to the kitchen with Mom, excited to see what amazing adventures awaited them in their own home. He knew that even though they were back from the Enchanted Castle, a little bit of magic could always be found, especially with Mom by his side.
