The Three Little Pigs with Charlotte

The Three Little Pigs with Charlotte

Once upon a time, there was a curious and adventurous child named Charlotte. She loved to go on walks in the forest, dreaming about monsters and looking at bugs! One sunny afternoon, Charlotte was watching ants march in a line when she heard some voices. She got curious and decided to follow them.

"Where are you going?" Charlotte asked. "Let's go find out!" she thought, and ran after the voices.

When she got closer, Charlotte saw three tiny piglets. One had a funny pink nose, another had a long curly tail, and the last one was super chubby with little round ears!

"Hi!" they all said at once. Before Charlotte could say hello, they asked, "Do you live in a house?"

Charlotte was confused. "Of course, I live in a house! It's in San Jose, and it's really cozy!" she explained.

The youngest piglet said, "We left our mother's house. We're all grown up now! Mommy said we need to build houses because the forest has a wolf who loves to eat piglets!" Charlotte was shocked. They were just little piglets!

"Don't worry!" Charlotte said, "I can help you!"

Each piglet wanted to build her own house. The first piglet chose straw, tied it up in big blocks, and didn't even make a door or window! She wanted to finish quickly so she could go play! She called Charlotte, but Charlotte said, "We can help all three of you, a little bit each, so you can all play together!" Charlotte loved playing with her powers, like making wind to blow the straw around.

The second piglet gathered wood from the forest and built a cabin with a roof, doors, and windows. But then she saw her sister playing and didn't bother to put in all the nails. She went to play, too! Charlotte went to help the third piglet.

The third piglet wanted to build a house just like their mom's, with bricks, cement, glass windows, and a strong roof. It took time, and Charlotte and the piglet sweated while working. But they laughed while they built it! They could see the other two piglets playing happily.

When the third piglet's house was finished, she invited Charlotte to eat something inside. Charlotte was excited to see her house! They could cook something on the wood stove they had built.

That night, a big, bad wolf appeared! The piglets and Charlotte were scared. The wolf went straight to the straw house and with one big blow, knocked it down! The piglet ran through the dark forest, and the wolf couldn't catch her. Charlotte said, "If you're scared, we can go to my hiding place, under the bed, in case we need to!"

The wolf, who was hungry and didn't want to wait, went to the wooden cabin. It took two blows, and the house fell apart. The second piglet ran and found her sister hiding in the forest.

The wolf, already angry, went to blow down the third house, made of bricks. A yummy smell was coming from the chimney! He blew, blew, blew, but the house didn't fall. So he decided to go down the chimney! It seemed like a good idea! But as he started to go down, he smelled something burning! His tail was on fire!

This time, the wolf was scared! He quickly ran away! The two hiding piglets laughed when they saw the wolf running away. They went back to their sister and had a delicious soup with Charlotte! It felt good to be safe inside a warm house.

And so, Charlotte and the three little piglets enjoyed that night, realizing that sometimes, good things take time!
