The Three Little Pigs with Grace

The Three Little Pigs with Grace

Once upon a time, there was a curious and adventurous child named Grace. Grace had beautiful, wavy red hair and big brown eyes. She loved to go on walks in the forest. That's when she would dream about all the wonderful fairy tales she loved to read. On one sunny day, Grace was exploring a grassy clearing in the middle of the forest. She was watching a trail of busy ants when she heard some voices.

"What's that?" she wondered.

Grace's creative mind wanted to know what was going on! She carefully followed the sounds of the voices, hiding behind a big, old oak tree.

There, she found three little piglets! They were the cutest piglets Grace had ever seen. One had a curly tail that wiggled as she talked. Another had a tiny pink nose that twitched with every word. And the third had a big, silly grin that made Grace giggle.

"Hello!" called the little piglet with the curly tail. "Do you live in a house?"

Grace was confused. "Of course, I live in a house!" she said. "It's in San Francisco, and it's very cozy. I live there with my family!"

"Oh," said the youngest piglet with the tiny nose. "Well, we left our mother's house. We've grown up now! Our mother told us to build our own houses because the forest has dangers, like a big, bad wolf who loves to eat piglets!"

Grace's eyes widened. "A wolf?" she asked. "But you're so little!"

"We know," said the piglet with the big grin. "But we need houses to keep us safe!"

"I can help!" shouted Grace.

The piglets were so happy! They each decided to build a house. The first piglet wanted to build a house out of straw. She quickly tied it up in big blocks. It didn't even have a door or window, but she wanted to finish quickly so she could go play!

"Come on, Grace!" she called. "Let's play!"

"We'll help everyone a little bit," said Grace. "Then we can all play together."

Grace loved to play with her superpower - making wishes come true! It was so much fun!

The second piglet decided to gather wood from the forest and build a cabin. She made a roof, doors, and windows. But she saw her sister playing and forgot to put in many nails. Finally, she went to play, too.

Grace went to help the third piglet. This little piglet wanted to build a house just like her mother's - with bricks, cement, glass windows, and a secure roof. It took a lot of time! Grace and the piglet sweated with all that work! But they laughed while they worked. They could see their sisters already playing in the forest, having lots of fun!

Finally, Grace and the third piglet finished the whole job.

"Come on, Grace!" said the piglet. "Let's eat something in my new house!"

Grace was so excited! She loved to cook! She had a wood stove in her new house, and they could cook something delicious!

That night, the big, bad wolf appeared! The piglets and Grace were scared! He went straight to the straw house. With just one strong blow, he knocked the whole house down! The piglet who lived there ran through the dark forest, trying to escape the wolf.

"Oh no!" cried Grace. "We could go to Dreamland, my secret hideout, if you need to run away!"

The wolf, who was hungry and didn't want to waste time, went straight to the wooden cabin. It took two strong blows, and soon the house fell apart. The second piglet ran and found her sister hiding in the forest.

The wolf, already irritated, went to blow down the third house, made of bricks. A delicious smell was coming from the chimney! He blew and blew and blew, but nothing happened! The house didn't fall!

So, he decided to go down the chimney! It seemed like a good idea! But when he started to descend, he smelled something burning! His tail was on fire!

This time, it was the wolf who was scared! He quickly ran away from there!

The two hiding piglets laughed when they saw the wolf running away. They were finally able to return to their sister's house. Their sister welcomed them, and along with Grace, they had a delicious soup! It felt good to feel welcomed, inside a warm and safe house!

And so, Grace and the three little piglets enjoyed that night, realizing that sometimes, good things take time!
