Once upon a time, there was a curious and adventurous child named Mila. Mila loved to go on walks. It was during her walks that she would dream about butterflies. Today, besides butterflies, Mila was exploring some insects in a grassy clearing in the middle of a forest.
Mila was watching a trail of ants when she heard some voices. Curious, she decided to find out what all the conversation was about in the middle of the forest! She followed the sound of the voices and saw three little piglets! They were so cute! One piglet was wearing a flower in her hair, another one was bouncing up and down, and the third one was looking around very carefully.
The piglets immediately called Mila over. Before they even introduced themselves, they asked Mila if she lived in a house! Mila was confused, of course she lived in a house! It was in Columbus and was a cozy home shared with her family.
The youngest piglet explained that she and her sisters had left their mother's house. After all, they were all grown up now! Their mother had told them to build their own houses because the forest had dangers, like a wolf who loved to eat piglets! Mila, being only five years old, thought that was scary!
Mila immediately said she could help them! Each of the piglets was going to build her own house. One decided to use straw, tied it up in big blocks, and didn't even have a door or window! But she wanted to finish quickly so she could go play! She called Mila, but Mila said they would help all three, a little bit each, so everyone could play together. Mila loved to play with her superpower, transforming into a butterfly, for example.
The other piglet decided to gather wood from the forest and built her cabin, with a roof, doors, and windows, but she saw her sister playing and didn't worry about putting in many nails. Finally, she went to play! Mila then went to help the third piglet.
The third piglet wanted to build a house like her mother's, with bricks, cement, glass windows, and a secure roof. And it took time. Mila and she sweated with all that work! But they laughed while doing it! Meanwhile, they saw the two other piglets already free, having lots of fun.
When the third piglet and Mila finished the whole job, the piglet invited Mila to eat something in her new house! Mila was excited, it was a delicious treat! They could cook something on the wood stove they had built.
That night, the wolf appeared! The piglets and Mila were scared! The wolf went straight to the straw house and with just one strong blow, knocked the whole house down! The piglet who lived there ran through the dark forest without the wolf being able to catch her. Mila worried and said they could go to their hiding place, Magic garden, if needed!
The wolf, who was hungry and didn't want to waste time, went straight to the wooden cabin. It took two strong blows, and soon the house fell apart. The second piglet ran and found her sister hiding in the forest.
The wolf, already irritated, went to blow down the third house, made of bricks, from which a delicious smell was coming out of the chimney. He blew, blew, blew, and nothing. The house didn't fall. So he decided to go down the chimney! It seemed like a good idea! And when he started to descend, he smelled something burning! His tail was on fire!
This time it was the wolf who was scared and quickly ran away from there!
The two hiding piglets laughed when they saw the wolf running away and finally were able to return. Their sister welcomed them, and along with Mila, they had a delicious soup! It felt good to feel welcomed, inside a warm and safe house!
And so, Mila and the three little piglets enjoyed that night, realizing that sometimes, good things take time!
