This story begins a few years ago… Even before Grace was born… There was a huge celebration happening in a magical kingdom, the kind Grace knew how to reach through the path of dreams and imagination. But anyway, the story begins before that.
They were celebrating the birth of Princess Aurora, the daughter of the king and queen of the kingdom. They had tried for many years to have a baby and she finally came! Lots of fairies came to the party and gave the princess the best gifts, like intelligence, kindness, and being humble… But one fairy wasn't very nice. She gave Princess Aurora a curse! When the princess grew up, she would prick her finger on a spinning wheel and die.
Everyone in the kingdom was really happy, after all, they couldn't take back the gifts the nice fairies gave. But then, a funny little fairy came late and fixed the curse! The princess would still prick her finger, but she wouldn't die. Instead, she would fall asleep forever until someone kissed her.
Years went by, and there were no spinning wheels in the kingdom. Everyone learned to sew with sticks and string. They had to protect the princess!
When Princess Aurora was a teenager, she found a spinning wheel, something she had never seen before. She decided to use it! After all, it would be easier to sew with a spinning wheel! But the curse was real. She quickly pricked her finger, and she and the whole kingdom fell asleep for a very long time…
This is when Grace entered the story! One day, Grace was playing in the world of their imagination, using their superpower to make wishes come true, when they met a young man. He was sitting under a big, fluffy cloud, eating a giant lollipop that looked like a rainbow!
“Hello!” said Grace, bouncing up and down with excitement. “What’s your name?”
The young man smiled. “My name is Prince Oliver. And you are?”
“I’m Grace!” she said, twirling her red, wavy hair.
Prince Oliver told Grace a story about a sleeping princess, a magical kingdom, and a curse. “I need help to wake her up,” he said sadly.
Prince Oliver invited Grace on a big adventure! They would travel to Princess Aurora's enchanted kingdom and wake her up. Grace loved fairy tales and was excited to go on an adventure!
Grace accepted Prince Oliver's invitation! They flew to the kingdom on the back of a giant, friendly unicorn.
When they arrived, the castle was covered in leaves. A big forest had grown around it over the years.
Prince Oliver and Grace talked about how to get to the castle tower. “We can climb the trees!” said Grace.
“We can use our imagination to make a path through the forest!” suggested Prince Oliver.
They began their journey, but there were lots of challenges! The flowers had thorns that popped out of nowhere, the tree trunks moved and blocked their path, and there were scary creatures to fight! But Grace’s superpower helped them. She wished for the thorns to disappear, for the trees to move out of their way, and for the creatures to become friendly.
When they finally reached the castle, they went straight to the tower where Princess Aurora was sleeping. Prince Oliver, with Grace rooting for him, kissed Princess Aurora's lips. She woke up, and so did the whole kingdom!
Slowly, the forest around the castle started to disappear. Everything became bright and magical again!
Princess Aurora was very happy to see her true love and Grace! She invited them to play in the castle whenever they wanted. She also loved fairy tales! Grace was so happy! They said they would come back whenever their imagination took them to the enchanted kingdom…
And on that day, Grace knew they would live happily ever after!
