Little Red Riding Hood with Benjamin

Little Red Riding Hood with Benjamin

Once upon a time, there was a child named Benjamin who lived with their mother in a little house in the mountains. The house was small, but cozy and warm, with a view of rolling green hills. Benjamin loved living there. Every morning, they woke up to the sound of birds singing and the sun shining through the window.

Benjamin loved to play Pirates with their friends. They would spend hours pretending to sail the high seas and fight off dangerous enemies. But more than anything, Benjamin adored their grandmother! Their grandmother had sewn a red hood for Benjamin to keep them warm. It was so beautiful and looked great on them, especially with their brown eyes and curly hair. Because of the hood, everyone called Benjamin Little Red Riding Hood.

One day, Benjamin’s mother asked them to go to their grandmother’s house in the next valley. Their grandmother was feeling a bit sick and needed care. “Benjamin, please take the road,” their mother said, “It's longer, but safer than the path through the forest.” Benjamin’s mother knew that Benjamin was very courageous and didn’t want them to face any danger.

Benjamin’s mother prepared a basket full of delicious food to help care for their grandmother. “Nothing helps an illness better than a meal made with love,” she said. Benjamin, or rather Little Red Riding Hood, left home with their hood and the basket of food, promising to return the next day. Benjamin resisted eating any of the food. After all, their grandmother needed it more!

As soon as Benjamin left the house, they met a wolf. The wolf was evil, but he pretended to be kind. “Where are you going, Little Red Riding Hood?” he asked. “I’m taking food to my grandmother,” Benjamin said. “Goodbye,” the wolf said, and he went on his way. Benjamin continued on their journey as well.

Benjamin took the longer but safer path. However, what Benjamin didn’t know was that the wolf had taken the forest path and planned to reach their grandmother’s house before them. And so he did.

The wolf arrived at the grandmother’s house and ate the old lady in one bite! When Benjamin arrived at their grandmother’s house, the wolf, dressed in the grandmother’s clothes, pretended to be her to deceive Benjamin.

Benjamin found their grandmother’s appearance strange. “Why are your eyes so big?” asked Benjamin. “It’s to see you better, Little Red Riding Hood,” said the wolf, disguised as the grandmother. “Why is your nose so big?” asked Benjamin. “It’s to smell you better!” said the disguised wolf. “And why is your mouth so big?” asked Benjamin. The wolf couldn’t resist any longer and pounced on Benjamin, saying, “It’s to taste you better!”

Just then, a wise old woodsman, who had magical powers, was walking through the forest. The old man heard Benjamin in trouble! Before the wolf could eat Little Red Riding Hood, the old man entered the house and saved the child.

The magical woodsman enchanted the wolf, making him tame and gentle. He put the wolf to sleep. Benjamin told the woodsman that the wolf had eaten their grandmother. The woodsman smiled and said that no evil could defeat goodness! With just a wave of his hands, he freed the grandmother from the wolf’s belly!

Benjamin hugged their beloved grandmother! Wearing their red hood, Benjamin thanked the woodsman and offered him the delicious food their mother had prepared.

That night, Benjamin, their grandmother, and the magical woodsman enjoyed the delicious food made by Benjamin’s mother.
