Little Red Riding Hood with Elijah

Little Red Riding Hood with Elijah

Once upon a time, there was a child named Elijah who lived with their mother in a little house in the mountains. It was cozy, with soft blankets and a fireplace that crackled merrily in the winter. Elijah's mother was always busy, making delicious meals and keeping the house clean. Elijah was a curious boy, with bright blue eyes and blonde, wavy hair. He loved playing with his toys, especially his rockets and spaceships! Elijah was obsessed with space and dreamed of exploring the stars. More than anything, though, Elijah loved their grandmother! She lived in the valley below, and Elijah often visited her. She had sewn a red hood to keep Elijah warm, and everyone called them Little Red Riding Hood. It looked amazing on Elijah!

One day, Elijah's mother asked them to visit their grandmother. "She's feeling a bit under the weather, and needs some love," she said. Elijah's mother explained that the forest path to their grandmother's house was dangerous. "It's best to take the road," she told Elijah, "It's longer, but safer, especially with your curious personality." Elijah's mother packed a basket full of yummy food to help their grandmother feel better. "Nothing cures a cold like a meal made with love," she said.

Elijah, wearing their red hood, promised to return the next day. They were so excited to see their grandmother, they couldn't wait to get there. Elijah resisted eating any of the yummy food in the basket. "It's for Grandma," they thought, "I want to save it all for her."

As soon as they left the house, Elijah met a wolf. The wolf looked mean, but he tried to pretend to be kind. "Where are you going, little one?" he asked. Elijah told him about taking food to their grandmother. The wolf said goodbye and went on his way, and so did Elijah.

Elijah took the longer, safer path. But what Elijah didn't know was that the wolf took the forest path. The wolf wanted to reach their grandmother's house before Elijah. And he did!

The wolf arrived at the grandmother's house and ate the old lady in one bite! When Elijah arrived, the wolf was already there. He was wearing their grandmother's clothes and pretending to be her.

Elijah thought their grandmother looked strange. "Grandma, why are your eyes so big?" they asked. The wolf, disguised as their grandmother, said, "It's to see you better, my dear Little Red Riding Hood!" Then Elijah asked, "Grandma, why is your nose so big?" The wolf said, "It's to smell you better!" Then Elijah asked, "Grandma, why is your mouth so big?" The wolf couldn't resist any longer. He jumped at Elijah and shouted, "It's to taste you better!"

Just then, a wise old woodsman with magical powers was walking through the forest. He heard Elijah in trouble! Before the wolf could eat Little Red Riding Hood, the old man entered the house. He saved Elijah!

The magical woodsman enchanted the wolf, making him tame and gentle. He put the wolf to sleep. Elijah told the woodsman that the wolf had eaten their grandmother. The woodsman smiled. "No evil can defeat goodness," he said. With a wave of his hands, he freed their grandmother from the wolf's belly!

Elijah hugged their beloved grandmother. They were so happy to see her! Wearing their red hood, which perfectly matched their wavy blonde hair, Elijah thanked the woodsman and offered him the delicious food their mother had prepared.

That night, Elijah, their grandmother, and the magical woodsman enjoyed the yummy food made by Elijah's mother.
