Once upon a time, there was a boy named Pedro. He was a good friend of Daniel, a boy with curly black hair and brown eyes. Pedro and Daniel were always together, playing games and talking about their favorite superheroes. They loved to imagine they had superpowers too!
One day, Pedro met Daniel in their favorite garden, where they often played. Pedro looked sad and told Daniel that his father had passed away. His father had left a lot of things to his brothers, but only a cat to Pedro.
“How are you going to survive with just a cat?” Daniel asked. He was very intelligent and wanted to help his friend. But before Pedro could answer, the cat interrupted, “If you get me a pair of leather boots, I will be very useful to Pedro!”
Daniel and Pedro decided to help their friend. They had a piggy bank full of coins they had saved, and they used all their money to buy the cat some shiny new boots. The cat smiled at them and asked, “Do you want to come with me?”
Pedro decided to stay with his brothers, but Daniel loved adventures and said, “Yes!” He was excited to go with the cat.
Daniel and the cat reached the enchanted forest near Daniel’s house in Dallas. It was a magical place, full of tall trees and sparkling rivers. The cat was a good hunter and quickly caught two hens. Daniel was amazed by the cat’s skills. Daniel showed the cat his superpower – super speed! He could run so fast, it was like a blur.
The cat had a plan, but he didn’t tell Daniel yet. He said, “You will understand soon.” They reached the enchanted castle in the forest and gave the hens to one of the king’s servants. They told him the hens were a gift from a young man who had recently moved to the kingdom. The king loved the hens and thanked the cat and Daniel.
Then, they went back to the garden to meet Pedro. The cat told Pedro what he had done. “But what’s the plan?” Pedro asked Daniel. Daniel didn’t know either. They played in the garden for a while, and then decided to go for a swim in the pond.
Just as they were about to jump in, a royal carriage arrived. The cat ran off, telling Daniel and Pedro to stay put. “It’s all part of the plan!” he shouted.
The cat met the king in the carriage. He told the king that someone had stolen the clothes of his young master, Daniel. The king was always kind and invited the cat, Daniel, and Pedro to ride in the carriage. He promised to get them new clothes. Daniel thanked the king.
The cat asked the king if he was interested in seeing the lands of his young master, Pedro. The king agreed! The cat directed the carriage to the castle of a powerful ogre! Pedro didn’t know what was happening, but he and Daniel enjoyed the adventure!
When they arrived, the cat jumped out of the carriage and told Pedro to show the king around his lands. Pedro and Daniel decided to play along. The cat went into the castle. Soon, the wicked ogre saw the cat. “What is a cat doing in my castle?” he roared.
The clever cat said, “I admire your magical powers. Could you turn me into a lion?” Like magic, the ogre turned into a lion! Then the cat asked, “Could you turn into a mouse?” The ogre, wanting to show off his powers, transformed into a mouse!
The cat, now a lion, ate the mouse! Now that castle belonged to Pedro. He and Daniel could play there a lot! Especially with Daniel's superpower, super speed!
The cat, who had magical powers too, turned back into a cat and went to meet the king, Pedro, and Daniel. He invited them all into the castle!
The king was amazed by the incredible castle and even more by the humility of Pedro and Daniel. The king said he would introduce his daughter as a potential future match for Pedro. He thought Pedro and the princess might have a beautiful family together!
Pedro and Daniel were delighted. They were eager to meet the princess, but decided to tell the truth about the cat’s adventures. The king was even happier to meet children who carried honesty and good values in their hearts.
After that day, Pedro, Daniel, the cat, and the princess played together every day in the enchanted forest garden. They even shared an interest in superheroes!
This truly is a happily ever after!
