Once upon a time, there was a boy named Pedro. Pedro was a good friend of Jackson, a brave boy with curly black hair and eyes as dark as night. They loved playing together, especially when they imagined themselves as brave knights battling dragons.
One day, Pedro met Jackson in the garden where they always played. Pedro looked sad. "My father passed away," he said. "He left the family windmill to my older brother, a pack mule to my middle brother, and only a cat to me."
Jackson was shocked. "A cat? How will you survive with just a cat?" he asked. Jackson, always brave, wanted to help.
Suddenly, the cat interrupted. "If you get me a pair of leather boots," he said, "I'll prove very useful!"
Jackson and Pedro ran to their piggy bank, where they had saved many coins. They bought a pair of boots for the cat. "Do you want to go with us?" asked the cat. Pedro said he would stay with his brothers, but Jackson, who never turned down an adventure, set off with the cat, full of hope.
The cat and Jackson went to the enchanted forest near Jackson's house in Denver. The cat, being a good hunter, caught two hens! They reached the forest in a magical way, with Jackson showing off his superpower - breathing fire!
"I have a plan," said the cat, "and you'll soon understand." They headed to the enchanted castle in the forest and gave the hens to one of the king's servants, saying they were a gift from a young man who had recently moved to the kingdom. The hens were well received. Then, the cat and Jackson set off to meet Pedro.
When they found Pedro in the garden, the cat told him about the hens. Pedro asked Jackson what the plan was, but Jackson still couldn't explain. The cat, Pedro, and Jackson played in the garden, then decided to swim in the nearby pond. Suddenly, a royal carriage approached! The cat ran off, telling them to stay put. "It's all part of the plan!" he said.
The cat met the king in the carriage. "Someone has stolen the clothes of my young master and Jackson," the cat said. The king, always kind, invited the cat, Jackson, and Pedro to ride in the carriage, promising to arrange new clothes for them! "Thank you, kind sir," said Jackson, his brave heart full of gratitude.
The cat asked the king, "Are you interested in seeing the lands of my young master Pedro?" The king agreed. The cat directed the carriage to the castle of a powerful ogre! Pedro didn't know what was happening, but he and Jackson enjoyed the adventure!
When they arrived, the cat jumped out of the carriage first. "Pedro," he said, "show the king around your lands." Pedro and Jackson decided to play along while the cat carried out his plan.
The cat entered the castle, and soon the wicked ogre asked, "What is a cat doing in my castle?" The clever cat said, "I greatly admire your magical powers. Could you transform into a lion?" Like magic, the ogre turned into a lion! Then the clever cat asked, "Could you turn into a mouse?" Wanting to show off his power, the ogre transformed into a mouse!
The cat, now a lion, ate the mouse! Now that castle belonged to Pedro, and there, Pedro and Jackson could play a lot! Especially with Jackson's superpower, breathing fire!
The cat, who also had magical powers, turned back into a cat and went to meet the king, Pedro, and Jackson, inviting them all into the castle! The king was dazzled by the incredible castle and even more by the humility of Pedro and Jackson. The king said, "I would like to introduce my daughter as a potential future match. You two would make a beautiful family!"
Pedro and Jackson were delighted with the situation. They wanted to meet the princess, the king's daughter, but they decided to tell the truth! They told the king about the cat's adventures, and the king was even happier to meet children who carried honesty and good values in their hearts.
After that day, Pedro, Jackson, the cat, and the princess played together every day in the enchanted forest garden since they also shared an interest in Dragons. This truly is a happily ever after!
