The Three Little Pigs with Abigail

The Three Little Pigs with Abigail

Once upon a time, there was a curious and adventurous child named Abigail. Abigail loved to go on walks. It was on walks that she would dream about mermaids, her favorite creature. This day, besides dreaming of mermaids, Abigail was also exploring some insects in a grassy clearing in the middle of a forest. Abigail was watching a trail of ants, fascinated by their busy little lives. Then, she heard some voices! Abigail, curious by nature, decided to find out what all the conversation was about.

Abigail followed the voices, her bright blue eyes scanning the trees. Soon, she came across three little piglets! They were all different! One piglet was so fluffy, you just wanted to cuddle her! The second piglet had a curly tail, and the third had a spot right on her nose.

The piglets squealed and squealed when they saw Abigail! They called her over, and before they even introduced themselves, they asked, "Do you live in a house?"

Abigail was confused. Of course, she lived in a house! It was in Washington, a cozy home shared with her family. She was a little unsure what the piglets were asking. Then, the youngest piglet explained. "We left our mother's house. We're all grown up now!" she said, puffing out her chest. "Our mom told us to build houses because the forest is full of dangers, like a big, bad wolf who loves to eat piglets!"

Abigail was shocked. She thought the piglets were so tiny! She was only five, but even she knew that wolves were scary!

"Don't worry," Abigail said. "I can help you build your houses!"

The piglets were delighted! Each one had her own plan. The first piglet wanted to build a house out of straw. She tied it up into big blocks, but she didn't even put in a door or a window! She wanted to finish quickly so she could go play! "Abigail, come help me!" she squealed.

"I will, but let's help everyone a little bit, so we can all play together," Abigail said. Abigail loved to play! She could swim like a mermaid! Her superpower was amazing!

The second piglet decided to gather wood from the forest and built her own cabin, with a roof, doors, and windows, but she wasn't very careful about putting in the nails. She was so excited to finish that she went out to play!

Abigail went to help the third piglet. She wanted to build a house just like her mother's, with bricks, cement, glass windows, and a secure roof. This took a long time! Abigail and the piglet sweated as they worked, but they laughed as they did it. They could see the other two piglets having lots of fun!

Finally, the third piglet and Abigail finished their house! The piglet invited Abigail to eat something in her new house. Abigail was so excited! It was a real house with a wood stove! They could cook something delicious!

That night, the wolf came! The piglets and Abigail were scared! The wolf went straight to the straw house. With one strong blow, he knocked the whole house down! The piglet who lived there ran through the dark forest, the wolf hot on her tail!

"Oh, no!" said Abigail. "We could go to my hiding place, Deep Ocean, if we need to!"

The wolf was hungry and didn't want to waste time. He went to the wooden cabin. It took two strong blows, and soon the house fell apart. The second piglet ran and found her sister hiding in the forest.

The wolf, already irritated, went to blow down the third house, made of bricks. A delicious smell was coming from the chimney! He blew, blew, blew, but nothing! The house didn't fall! So he decided to go down the chimney! It seemed like a good idea! As he started to descend, he smelled something burning! His tail was on fire!

This time, it was the wolf who was scared! He quickly ran away!

The two hiding piglets laughed when they saw the wolf running away. They were finally able to return to their sister. Abigail joined them, and they had a delicious soup! It felt good to be welcomed inside a warm and safe house!

And so, Abigail and the three little piglets enjoyed that night, realizing that sometimes, good things take time!
