The Three Little Pigs with Avery

The Three Little Pigs with Avery

Once upon a time, there was a curious and adventurous child named Avery. Avery loved to go on walks, dreaming about all the yummy sweets she could make. One day, Avery was exploring a grassy clearing in the middle of a forest. She was watching a trail of ants, so busy carrying little crumbs. Suddenly, Avery heard some voices! They were talking, laughing, and having so much fun! Avery’s curiosity was sparked. She loved to listen to stories. She decided to sneak closer and see what was going on.

Avery peeked through the tall blades of grass and saw three little piglets! They were all so different. One was a little chubby piglet with rosy cheeks. The second was a skinny piglet with long, floppy ears. And the third was a tiny piglet with a curly tail. Avery was so excited! She wanted to meet them!

The piglets immediately spotted Avery. "Hello there! Do you live in a house?" they squealed.

Avery was a little confused. "Of course, I live in a house! It's in Jacksonville, and it’s a cozy home with my family!" she said.

"Well, my sisters and I left our mommy's house. We're all grown up now!" the youngest piglet chirped. "Mommy told us to build our own houses, because the forest can be dangerous! There's a big bad wolf who likes to eat piglets!"

Avery gasped. "But you're so little! You can't build houses!"

The piglets giggled. "We can try! We each decided to build our own house!"

Avery's eyes lit up. "I can help!" she said. "I have a superpower!"

"A superpower? That's awesome!" the piglets squealed with excitement.

"Yes," Avery said. "I can make magical sweets!"

The piglets were amazed. "That's amazing!"

The first piglet ran off and started building her house. She used straw, tied it up in big blocks, and even forgot to put in a door or a window! She wanted to play quickly! She called Avery over.

"Wait, I want to help all three of you, a little bit each!" said Avery. "Then we can all play together!"

The other piglet decided to build her house out of wood. She found some branches and started hammering them together. She made a roof, doors, and windows. But she saw her sister playing and didn't want to put in too many nails. She finally went to play! Avery then went to help the third piglet.

The third piglet wanted to build a house just like her mommy's house. It had to be made of bricks, with cement, glass windows, and a strong roof. It took a long time, and Avery and the piglet got sweaty from all the work! But they laughed the whole time! Meanwhile, they saw the two other piglets playing happily in the forest.

Avery loved to play with her superpower, creating magical sweets. She made little candy trees, cookie flowers, and even a chocolate river!

When the third piglet and Avery finished the whole house, the piglet invited Avery to eat something in her new house. Avery was so excited! She could help the piglet cook something on the wood stove they had built!

That night, a big, scary wolf appeared! The piglets and Avery were scared! The wolf went straight to the straw house and with one strong blow, knocked the whole house down! The piglet who lived there ran through the dark forest.

Avery worried. "We could go to my hiding place, the Cotton candy cloud, if we need to!" she said.

The wolf was hungry and didn’t want to waste any time. He went straight to the wooden cabin. It took two strong blows, and soon the house fell apart. The second piglet ran and found her sister hiding in the forest.

The wolf was already irritated. He went to blow down the third house, made of bricks. A delicious smell was coming out of the chimney. He blew, blew, blew, but nothing happened. The house didn’t fall! So he decided to go down the chimney! It seemed like a good idea! And when he started to descend, he smelled something burning! His tail was on fire!

This time, it was the wolf who was scared! He quickly ran away from there!

The two hiding piglets laughed when they saw the wolf running away. They finally were able to return to their sister. Along with Avery, they had a delicious soup! It felt good to feel welcomed, inside a warm and safe house!

And so, Avery and the three little piglets enjoyed that night, realizing that sometimes, good things take time!
