Little Red Riding Hood with Alexander

Little Red Riding Hood with Alexander

Once upon a time, there was a child named Alexander who lived with their mother in a little house in the mountains. It was a small house, but it felt warm and cozy. Alexander loved living there! The house was nestled between tall trees and green fields. Outside, the air was clean and fresh, and the birds sang happy songs.

Alexander loved to play with dinosaurs. Their favorite dinosaur was a big T-Rex named Rex. They pretended to be dinosaurs all the time, stomping around the house and roaring loudly. But more than anything, Alexander adored their grandmother! Their grandmother had sewn a red hood for them to keep them warm. Everyone called them Little Red Riding Hood! The hood looked great on Alexander, especially considering their black eyes and brown hair.

One day, Alexander’s mother asked them to go to their grandmother’s house in the next valley. “Grandmother is feeling a bit sick, and I need you to take care of her,” she said. “Take the road, it’s longer but safer. Don’t take the path through the forest, it can be dangerous!” Alexander's mother explained that because of their curious personality, they needed to be careful.

Alexander's mother prepared a basket full of delicious food to help care for their grandmother. Nothing helps an illness better than a meal made with love! “Go now, Little Red Riding Hood, and come back tomorrow,” their mother said. Alexander left home with their red hood and the basket of food. They were very careful not to eat any of the food. They knew that a curious child like them shouldn’t eat anything without their mother’s permission!

As soon as Alexander left the house, they met a wolf. The wolf, who was evil but pretended to be kind, said, “Hello, Little Red Riding Hood, where are you going?”

“I’m taking food to my grandmother, she’s sick,” Alexander said.

“Oh, how nice!” said the wolf. “Goodbye, and have a safe journey!” The wolf went on his way, and so did Alexander.

Alexander took the longer but safer path, just like their mother had told them. But what they didn’t know was that the wolf had taken the forest path. He was in a hurry to get to their grandmother’s house before Alexander. And he did!

The wolf arrived at the grandmother’s house and ate the old lady in one bite! Then, he put on the grandmother’s clothes. When Alexander arrived at the house, they saw their grandmother lying in bed. “Oh, Grandmother, how strange you look,” said Alexander. “Your eyes are so big, and your nose is so big, and your mouth is so big!”

The wolf, disguised as the grandmother, said, “That’s just to see you better, Little Red Riding Hood. And that’s to smell you better. And that’s to taste you better!” The wolf couldn’t resist any longer and pounced on Alexander.

A wise old woodsman was walking through the forest. He heard Alexander in trouble! Before the wolf could eat Little Red Riding Hood, the woodsman entered the house and saved the child.

The magical woodsman enchanted the wolf, making him tame and gentle. He put the wolf to sleep. “The wolf ate your grandmother?” the woodsman asked. Alexander nodded.

The woodsman smiled and said, “No evil can defeat goodness!” With just a wave of his hands, he freed the grandmother from the wolf’s belly! Alexander hugged their beloved grandmother. They thanked the woodsman and offered him the delicious food their mother had prepared!

That night, Alexander, their grandmother, and the magical woodsman enjoyed the delicious food made by Alexander’s mother. It was a lovely meal, shared with the kindest people in the world.
