This story begins a few years ago… Even before Avery was born… There was a big celebration happening in the enchanted kingdom. It was a magical place, full of happy fairies and sparkling lights. Avery knew how to reach this kingdom, you see. She could travel there through the path of dreams and imagination. But this story starts before that.
They were celebrating the birth of Princess Aurora. She was the daughter of the king and queen, and they had waited so long to have a little girl! All the fairies in the kingdom came to the party. They gave Princess Aurora special gifts. Some fairies gave her intelligence, others gave her kindness, and a few even gave her humility. But one of the fairies wasn't so nice. The gift she gave to Princess Aurora was a curse! The princess would prick her finger on a spindle when she became an adult and die.
Everyone was sad, but they couldn’t take back the gifts from the fairies. Then, a funny little fairy came flying in late. She was a little late, and everyone giggled. She saw the sadness on everyone's faces, and she knew what to do! She waved her sparkly wand, and the curse was broken! The princess would still prick her finger on a spindle, but she wouldn’t die. Instead, she would fall into a deep sleep until she received a kiss from her true love!
Years went by, and everyone was happy again. They didn’t have any spindles in the kingdom. They learned to sew with sticks and threads. The princess needed to be protected! But when she was a teenager, she found a spindle. It was something she had never seen before. She thought, “It would be so easy to sew with a spindle!” She tried using it, and just like the curse said, she pricked her finger. And just like that, she and the whole kingdom fell asleep for a very long time…
That’s when Avery entered the story! She was just a little girl with curly blonde hair and big green eyes. One day, Avery was playing in her secret hideout – a cotton candy cloud that floated in the sky. She was creating magical sweets, one of her favorite things to do! Suddenly, she saw a boy with a big, friendly smile. He had a crown on his head and a kind face.
“Hi,” the boy said, “My name is Prince Leo, and I need your help.”
“Help with what?” Avery asked, her eyes wide with wonder.
Prince Leo told her about the sleeping princess. He told her that he had traveled through many lands, and he heard the story about Princess Aurora. He wanted to wake her up, and he needed someone with a special superpower to help him.
Avery loved adventures, especially in enchanted kingdoms. She loved sweets and magic. So, she decided to go with Prince Leo. They decided to travel to the kingdom together. Avery was excited! This was going to be the best adventure ever.
They flew to the kingdom on a giant, fluffy marshmallow. The castle was covered in leaves. A huge forest had grown around it over the years. Avery and Prince Leo decided to make a plan. They would find a way to reach the tower where Princess Aurora was sleeping.
They started walking through the forest. The forest was a magical place, but it was also very dangerous. The flowers sprouted thorns that tried to poke them. The tree trunks moved, blocking their path. There were even monstrous creatures! But Avery used her magic to make delicious treats for the creatures. She created sticky candy webs to catch the monsters. And she made sweet, sugary clouds to help them float over the dangers.
Finally, after many adventures, they reached the castle. They went straight to the tower where Princess Aurora was sleeping. Prince Leo held his breath and kissed Princess Aurora on the lips. And just like that, she woke up!
The whole kingdom woke up with her. The forest around the castle began to disappear. Everything became bright and enchanted again. Princess Aurora was very happy to have found her true love. She was so happy that she invited Avery to play in the castle whenever she wanted.
“I love sweets!” Princess Aurora told Avery. “Come visit anytime!”
Avery was so happy to be invited to the enchanted kingdom. She knew she would come back whenever her imagination wandered that way.
And on that day, Avery knew they would live happily ever after!
