This story begins a few years ago… Even before Matthew was born… There was a huge celebration happening in the enchanted kingdom, the one that Matthew knew how to reach through the path of dreams and imagination… But anyway, the story begins before that.
The king and queen were so happy! They finally had a baby girl! They named her Princess Aurora. All the fairies came to the celebration. They gave Princess Aurora gifts! One fairy gave her intelligence, another gave her kindness, and another gave her humility. But one of the fairies was not good. And the gift she gave to Princess Aurora was a curse! The princess would prick her finger on a spindle when she became an adult, and die!
Everyone in the kingdom was very happy, after all, they couldn't take away the gifts given by the fairies. But then, a very funny little fairy arrived late and managed to reverse the curse! The princess would indeed prick her finger, but she would not die; instead, she would sleep forever until she received a kiss from her true love.
Years went by, and there were no spindles in the kingdom. Everyone learned to sew with sticks and threads. The princess needed to be protected! When she was a teenager, she found a spindle, an object she had never seen before, and decided to use it! After all, it would be much easier to sew with a spindle! But the curse was set, and the princess quickly pricked her finger, causing her and the entire kingdom to fall into a deep sleep for many, many years…
It was at this moment that Matthew entered the story! One day, while running like a race car through the paths of his imagination, he met a young man. He was wearing a fancy blue suit, riding a horse, and looked very important.
"Hello, my name is Prince William! You're Matthew, aren't you?"
Matthew giggled. He was fast, like a car!
"That's right!" Matthew yelled. He was very energetic and loved to meet new people.
"I need your help!" Prince William said.
"What do you need help with?" Matthew asked. He was ready for an adventure!
Prince William told Matthew about the sleeping princess, Aurora. "I'm here to wake her up and be her true love!" Prince William explained. "But I need your help to find her castle. It's lost in a magical forest!"
Matthew loved a good adventure, especially in enchanted kingdoms! "Sure, I'll help you!" Matthew shouted.
Prince William had a magical car that went as fast as a rocket! He took Matthew to the sleeping kingdom. It was amazing! They went through a magical portal and landed in the middle of a huge forest. It looked like the castle had been sleeping for years.
"Oh no!" Prince William sighed. "The castle is completely hidden! We need to find the tower where Princess Aurora sleeps!"
Matthew and Prince William made a plan. They would use Matthew’s racing superpower to run through the forest quickly! They would climb the tallest tree and then they would see the castle tower!
They started their journey. But it was dangerous! The flowers sprouted thorns out of nowhere! The tree trunks moved and blocked their paths! There were monstrous creatures that the prince and Matthew had to battle! Matthew was fast and quick, like a race car! He could dodge any danger!
Finally, they reached the castle! They found Princess Aurora sleeping in the tower. Prince William slowly climbed up the tower. He held his breath and kissed Princess Aurora's lips!
Suddenly, the whole kingdom woke up! Princess Aurora opened her eyes and looked at Prince William, blushing. She was very happy to be awake.
Slowly, the forest around the castle began to disappear… And everything became bright and enchanted once again!
Princess Aurora was very happy to have found her true love and Matthew! She sweetly invited Matthew to play in the castle whenever they wanted! She even said she loved cars, just like him!
Matthew was very happy with the invitation and said he would come whenever his imagination wandered to the enchanted kingdom…
And on that day, Matthew knew he would live happily ever after!
